NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX»
The theme of two people who are polar opposites
swapping positions, identities, and/or bodies is a
popular Hollywood plot dynamic. In the movie
Trading Places, Eddie Murphy went from street
hustler to distinguished gentleman and Dan Akroyd
plummeted the other way.
Cave is known for their shooting games but maybe
the trade in shmups isn't what it used to be.
Perhaps that's why the company is branching out and
developing a game dubbed Ohimesama Debut
where an average schoolgirl switches bodies with a
princess from another dimension. By becoming a
tiara-wearing royal, the schoolgirl becomes the
belle of the ball and interacts with six members of
the Prince Charming brigade who are all vying for
her hand. Before anything matrimonial happens
however, there's dancing to be done. Lots of dancing
(waltz, rumba, samba, ballroom, etc) which is
performed by tracing the NDS stylus on curved lines
known as dance lines.
By performing well with your
control of the stylus, the princess will pirouette,
sway, and swish like a seasoned dancer. The game
features a collection of recognizable classical
music to accompany the ballroom dramatics.
Bonus Schwag
All preorders and new orders will ship with a bonus beaded
Princess Tiara (pictured above) that doesn't have
any functional utility other than serving as a
bonus.

NCS Game Notes
» At the outset of the game, you may enter your name
in Katakana, Hiragana, or English. We named our
heroine Milli. We wanted "Millie" but there's only
five spaces available for the moniker. Next, choose
your astrological sign and the game begins.
» Milli begins her adventure in the middle of a city
street where she appears a bit disconcerted. A
blue-haired friend greets her and the two have a
short conversation. In the next scene, Milli's back
home and her room is decidedly pink. There's a pink
curio cabinet, pink sheet, pink curtains, a pink
lamp, and a pink desk.
» While Milli's busy minding her own business, the
doors to the curio cabinet burst open and a strange
rodent (colored pink) floats in mid-air. A spinning
mandala may be seen inside the cabinet. The rodent
is carrying a wand and wears pink glasses. Shortly
thereafter, a Princess in a frilly pink dress
appears. She's wearing a tiara that looks exactly
like the one that we're giving away as a bonus item.
The Princess is also the spitting image of Milli and
they could be twins. The decision is made to switch
places and Milli is spirited away to the Princess'
kingdom.
» In the game, the tiara and a good amount of
spinning is what makes Milli a Princess. Her
everyday clothes also magically transform into a
pink dress.
» Three save slots are available on the game card.
This means that three different players can save
their progress to the card.
» In the next scene, Milli is in a banquet hall
where assorted foods line the lengthy dining table.
A procession of suitors introduce themselves. A
short dancing intro plays on the top screen where
Milli whirls with a guy who sort of looks like a
prince.
» The first dance where the player gets to control
the movement is a short interlude with a rabbit in a
top hat and suit. Simply tap the stylus on the
purple sphere that appears on the touch screen and
follow its movement on the groove (aka dance line)
that it rolls upon.
» Early dances are simple but gradually increase in
difficulty as the game progresses further on.
Players who have enjoyed the likes of Osu
Tatakae Ouendan will find some of the same
stylus rolling action in Ohimesama Debut.
