NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX»
A
helicopter is flying over Raccoon Forest when it
encounters trouble and crash lands. The S.T.A.R.S.
operatives inside the helicopter emerge from the
ruined aircraft with nary a scratch between them and
immediately canvas the local area. An agent named
Rebecca Chambers spots an overturned vehicle along
with the dead law enforcement officers inside. Her
fellow S.T.A.R.S. members quickly assess the
situation and recover a dossier from the vehicle
which details the transport of a felon named Billy
Coen. The agents continue to explore the area.
Rebecca eventually finds a passenger train in the forest and
enters. Instead of finding stranded riders, Becky
finds a lot of dead people and a few shuffling
undead who make groaning noises and are out for
blood. Rebecca also finds Billy Coen, the escaped
convict, but he's the least of her troubles...
The Wii version of Biohazard 0 is a two-handed affair
where the nunchuk is used for movement and the
Wii Remote's buttons serve to shoot. There's no Wii
Remote
waving antics in the game but that's a good thing
because precision is required when shooting down
zombies and slavering Cerberus mutts.

NCS Game Notes
» The title screen features the following selections
LOAD GAME / Resume a game from saved data
NEW GAME / Play an Easy, Normal, or Hard game of
Biohazard 0
OPTION / Audio Setup, Key Config, Vibration, Monitor
Tuning, Game Reset, Exit
» Upon starting a new game, an English introductory
text scroll and voice- over sets up the story. The
game starts before the Mansion incident on a train
crossing the Racoon Forest. As the train motors
onwards, strange creatures clutter the glass and
break into the train to horror of the passengers on
board. A shadowy figure high above on a ledge looks
on. Two hours later, a helicopter carrying a
S.T.A.R.S team is headed towards Raccoon City but
the copter encounters trouble and crash lands onto
the forest floor. The agents survive the landing and
exit en masse. They spy an overturned vehicle with
the driver and passenger sprawled... dead. An agent
named Rebecca Chambers finds a dossier on the
prisoner who escaped the vehicle and later she finds
the train from earlier - dark and seemingly
deserted. She enters and the game starts with full
control handed over to the player...
» Biohazard 0 utilizes both controllers on the Wii.
The nunchuk's analog pad is used for movement and
the Wii Remote controls the shooting. To run, move up
on the d-pad and hold the "Z" button on the nunchuk.
The controls feel a bit sloppy due to the
free-roaming design of the analog stick on the
nunchuk but we got used to it after a few minutes.
» In the next train car, Chambers encounters three
undead who lumber towards her with evil intent. The
first two zombies stay down once they're shot up but
the third zombie gets up for an encore before a
final bullet knocks it down. Further onwards, she'll
get to kill two rabid dogs after witnessing one of
her team members dying from his wounds.
» All of the spoken dialogue in the game is in
English. All of the in-game text however is in
Japanese with the exception of the menu headers.
However, the game is import friendly and works fine
with the Freeloader and a Wii with v3.2U firmware.
As mentioned on our Freeloader product listing
however, please be aware that 3.3U firmware breaks
Freeloader functionality.
» Game progress is saved by standing in front of old
typewriters. Objects of interest sparkle in order to
catch your eye.
» When Rebecca is slightly wounded, she holds the
side of her abdomen with her left hand and walks
with a slight impediment.
» Later on, Rebecca meets up with the felon named
Billy Coen and the two eventually team up to survive
the zombie menace after Becky comes face to face
with an army of squishy jelly creatures.
