«©NCSX» Domokun's a pop culture phenomenon who's still going strong after fairly decent saturation in the Japanese and most recently, the American toy market. We're thinking 2009 will be another good year for Domokun since everyone needs a toothy monster in their lives.

   Eikoh's die-cut Domokun cushion measures a fairly large 17.71" in height and roughly 12" in length. Two varieties on offer: A Domokun cushion which raises its right paw and is bright eyed and a variant Domokun cushion which seems to be sleepy with half-closed eyelids. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late May 2009 at US$30.90 per cushion.

«©NCSX» The recent Fate/Unlimited Codes fighting game for the PS2 was a solid seller and NCS shifted a good number of the SP-BOX Edition which included a bonus Saber Lily Figma from Max Factory. For an encore, Good Smile Company has announced a 1/7 scale Saber Lily Distant Avalon figure which measures 23cm or 9.05" in height. The sculpture by Takayuki Kawahara depicts the blonde knight in the midst of igniting her "Distant Avalon" attack which fills the Fate/Unlimited Codes game screen with slashing laser-like light.

   Saber is decked out in a suit of armor that's a combination of metal plating and poofy white dress. A scabbard is tethered to Saber's left side while her right hand grips the mighty sword Excalibur. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late June 2009 at JPY9800 or US$109.90 from NCS.

 NEWS General Updates

Lunar New Year
   Last year was the Lunar Year of the Rat. The rodent signage was perhaps fitting for 2008 considering what has happened globally in the past year. Today marks the beginning of the Lunar Year of the Ox. The bull might make a sustained run in select markets but we're watching and waiting rather than actively trading. Some soothsayers are anticipating a recovery in the latter half of 2009.
DoDonPachi Daioujou Black Label Extra
   The new finalized date for the Xbox 360 home conversion of DoDonPachi Daioujou Black Label Extra is February 19, 2009. All preorders are still on file and we'll ship reservations once the game is released. New orders are welcome.
Dux for Dreamcast
   There's no confirmed release date yet but maybe we'll have more information next month. Our payment for the game was made last year but we're thinking only positive thoughts and patiently waiting for release.

«©NCSX» BPS sculpts two robust Nakoruru figures in a choice of orange or red trim colors. Nak measures 12" tall and aims a dagger at something or someone in the distance. The folds in her clothing, the waves in her hair and those baby blues are beautifully crafted and all contribute to the exceptional quality of this figure. The Nakoruru figure was a premium prize item that was used in UFO catcher machines. Since our inventory came direct from the manufacturer, a UFO catcher claw has never touched them.

   Please note that only the orange trim version of Nakoruru is available. The red trim version sold out about a year ago.
