«©NCSX» Hori opened up preorders yesterday for the www.horistore.com exclusive RAP.EX SE which uses genuine Seimetsu buttons and a lollipop-style joystick. That means you won't have to mod a standard Hori RAP EX stick with coin-op quality parts to get that special tactile arcade feel. Besides, modding a joystick can potentially lead to fatigue, wayward solder, a broken joystick, and consequently a broken heart. Why risk it?
    The upcoming Hori Real Arcade Pro EX SE is based on the same form-factor as earlier RAPs and sports a 3m (9.83') cord. Preorders are welcome to ship on or around Feb 5, 2009. Due to the heavy weight of the joystick, NCS recommends only shipping by UPS Ground within the United States. Pricing reflects yen conversion, our vendor's deputy surcharge, and overnight shipping from Japan to the USA.

   Organic's upcoming Modern Pets Friend: Mickey and Minnie figures are decidedly youthful. Mickey and Minnie are mere babes and they look the part with cherubic faces and short statures. «©NCSX» When NCS receives product solicitations for Animal Crossing products, we generally give them the benefit of the doubt instead of quickly turning our attention elsewhere. AXing products have a good track record and are consistent sellers - important attributes in a wary and rather weary marketplace. The latest AXing product offer from Banpresto is a pair of stainless steel tumblers which feature stylish silhouette artwork instead of in-your-face depictions of Animal Crossing beasts like Tom Nook (Tanukichi) and Crazy Redd (Tsunekichi). The tumblers measure 14cm tall and are made of rigid plastic with a metal rim which apparently adds value. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late May 2009.

«©NCSX» Takara releases the seventh Transformers Masterpiece figure which is packaged in the large standard MP package. If we recall correctly, Thundercracker is a blue G1 Decepticon (Destron in Japan) that looks like Megatron except that he's colored a regal blue hue.
   Thundercracker can transform into a sleek jetfighter with a hatch that opens up and a nose cone which swivels to the side when pushed. Two weapon accessories, a miniature toy pilot, and a display stand are also included in the package. 
   All preorders have shipped as of last week and new orders are welcome today. Pricing is set at JPY10000 or US$108.90 from NCS.

«©NCSX» BPS sculpts two robust Nakoruru figures in a choice of orange or red trim colors. Nak measures 12" tall and aims a dagger at something or someone in the distance. The folds in her clothing, the waves in her hair and those baby blues are beautifully crafted and all contribute to the exceptional quality of this figure. The Nakoruru figure was a premium prize item that was used in UFO catcher machines. Since our inventory came direct from the manufacturer, a UFO catcher claw has never touched them.

   Please note that only the orange trim version of Nakoruru is available. The red trim version sold out about a year ago.
