«©NCSX» Chara Ani released the Monster Hunter Pugi Collection G figures last year and the company discovered that toy pigs sold pretty good. The Monster Hunter brand is still going strong in Japan and another manufacturer (Banpresto) is testing the pig-loving audience with a pair of baby Pugi straps which measure 7cm or 2.75" in length and are made of a plushy material. On the left of the photo is a boy baby Pugi with a blue and white striped coat and the baby girl on the right of the photo wears a diaper and a gold crown. She must be a member of royalty.
   Preorders for the set of two Pugi straps are welcome to ship in mid-late June 2009 at US$14.90 for the pair which includes free Media Mail shipping.

«©NCSX» Japanese manufacturer Wave has started preorders for a nonscale Kuma figure which ships in August. Kuma is a reverse teardrop shaped bear from Persona 4 whose color scheme is reminiscent of something that's found in the circus.
   Kuma's body is made of PVC and ABS but note that the zipper that serves as the point of demarcation between his body and head is made of soft vinyl. A zipper tab sticks out from the back of Kuma's "neck" but it's non-functional and is just there for show. Preorders ship in August 09.

«©NCSX» The regular edition of Biohazard 5 for the Japanese Xbox 360 arrived yesterday and today we receive a slightly different version which is dubbed the Biohazard 5 Deluxe Edition. What makes it deluxe? The game is packaged in a black metal case which in turn is inserted in a plastic sleeve that serves as the cover for the game. Inside, you'll find the Biohazard 5 game disc, the official Biohazard 5 Original Soundtrack, and an Xbox Live 48 hour Gold Membership code.
   The fifth Biohazard takes players to the African continent where a contagion is ravaging the populace as well as the wildlife. Chris Redfield serves as an agent of the Bio-terrorism Security Assessment Alliance and his partner in the adventure is a fellow agent named Sheva Alomar.

The sales period ran from December 1 to December 16 and was closed afterwards. NCS was able to submit a reservation last year but we weren't sure until last night if our order would be filled. Now that we've received confirmation, NCS is accepting preorders for the limited edition bundle which includes the following items:

» Hard cover art book with production commentary (32-pages)
» BSAA waist pouch which can also be worn across the shoulder
» USB thumb drive (2GB) made of brushed aluminum with Tricell logo

Spend an entire year with the girls of Final Fantasy X-2 by hanging this poster-page sized calendar (measuring 29.5 x 20.5") on your wall or in your hall.
   There are seven pages total - one cover sheet and six monthly pages in the calendar. After every two months, you'll have a new poster to look at as the year winds down.
