«©NCSX» Music makers have a friend in KORG DS-10 which is a versatile synthesizer for the lowly DS. The original KORG DS-10 Synthesizer software was released on July 24, 2008 and it found an eager global audience despite being relegated for sale solely on Amazon Japan. NCS sold a few hundred copies over the course of multiple shipments from Amazon. The sequel to KORG DS-10 isn't exclusive to Amazon so there's little friction to import the software from Japan. The new features in KORG DS-10 are:

» Dual Mode - Analog Synthesizers (from 2 to 4), Drum Machines (4 to 8), and Tracks (6 to 12). Please note that Dual Mode is a Nintendo DSi exclusive feature and is not available for the standard DS or DS Lite.
» Expanded Song Mode
» Programmable Track Mute
» Realtime Edit in Song Mode

The limited edition of KORD DS-10 Plus includes four bonus tracks and a bonus booklet courtesy of Japanese science magazine/mook Otona no Kagaku which is published by Gakken.

Nintendo DSi Game Region Alert
Please note that Japanese Nintendo DSi games such as KORG DS-10 Plus with specific NDSi features such as the Dual Mode function are region-locked and not compatible with USA or European Nintendo DSi handhelds.

If you own a standard Nintendo DS or Nintendo DS Lite handheld, you will be able to play KORG DS-10 Plus but please note that the North American or European Nintendo DSi will not detect NDSi specific cartridges from another region due to the lockout implemented by Nintendo. When you plug a Japanese NDSi game into a USA NDSi handheld, there is no recognition by the system. Thanks for reading.
