«©NCSX» Cave's distributor started preorders for the Xbox 360 conversion of Mushihimesama Futari v1.5 last night and reservations are welcome for a regular edition of the game as well as a limited edition today. According to the preorder details, both versions of the game will include a bonus DLC card which unlocks Mushihimesama Futari rev1.01 which is basically Futari v1.5 with bullet patterns from Futari v1.0.

   Pilot Princess Reko atop her beetle Kiniro or a lad named Palm who rides a beetle known as Hirow and shoot at waves upon waves of insect attackers. Preorder Price: JPY6800 or US$73.90 from NCS.

   The limited edition of Futari includes a 2-CD Mushihimesama Futari Arrange Soundtrack which is bundled with the game in a special slipcase.

«©NCSX» Banpresto has long had a license to manufacture Pokemon plushes for the Japanese market. The company takes advantage of the recent release of Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver on the Nintendo DS by announcing a new set of plushes that measure 14cm or 5.51" tall and feature "Houou" (cover monster for HeartGold), "Lugia" (cover monster for SoulSilver), "Chicorita," "Hinoarashi," and "Waninoko." The latter three are the default starter monsters for a number of Pokemon games including HeartGold and SoulSilver. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late December 2009 at US$14.90 per plush.

«©NCSX» In a 1998 interview in Next Generation Magazine, Trip Hawkins (founder of EA) said the following: "The way I look at it is when you make a sequel you can't sell them the same game because they already own it. What they want is to continue to play the game they know they like. It shouldn't surprise us. If you look at our parents or their parents and the kind of games that they play, they will pick a sport like golf or a game like chess, and they will play it their whole life. If somebody is a golfer, they might well try another course or buy a new set of clubs, but they still want to play the same game."

   In the past few years, Square's business model has one where a sizable amount of the company's revenue and profits have come from remakes, re-releases, and rehashes. As Trip said a decade ago, people want to play the same game and Square is more than happy to oblige. True to form,  Dissidia Final Fantasy Universal Tuning is a re-release of the USA version of Dissidia into the Japanese marketplace. It's also the second time Dissidia has been released in Japan this year. NCS expects no less than two more re-releases under "The Best" and Square's own budget re-release label within the next 2 years.

«©NCSX» New and factory boxed copy of Ultima: Seisha he no Michi for the Famicom which was released over 20 years ago. The subtitle of the game translates to "Quest of the Avatar."

Product Condition: NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed. The condition of the cardboard boxes are, in our opinion, good to very good but there is obvious wear due to decades of warehousing so they're not perfect. The game cartridges, inner plastic trays, and instruction manuals are in brand new and excellent condition however.

Sale Offering: Pricing per copy of Ultima is set at US$32.90 each. If you reside within the continental US, NCS recommends shipping by USPS Media Mail for the most economical domestic carriage cost.
