NCS Product Synopsis Update: October 01, 2009 «©NCSX» The worlds of Disgaea and Atelier Viorate clash in Nippon Ichi's Trinity Universe which plies the standard RPG trade. TU is a cross-over title in more ways than one - there's the character cross-over but the game also introduces full-blown 3D encounters to the Disgaea and Atelier universes. Flonne, Etna, Viorate, and the Prinnies are rendered with detailed models to give them girth and depth. The game also contains a decent amount of non-interactive conversation sequences where the characters are flat 2D illustrations. That's where the AAA System (Active Animation Adventure) comes into play where a whole host of expressions and facial tics allow the characters to appear lifelike and realistic.     The battle system takes place on a 3D arena where player characters stand on one side whilst enemies stand on the other.
