 «©NCSX» NCS opened up preorders for a pair of Mega-Drive and Sega Saturn Zippos last week but four more gaming-related Zippos are headed our way. Banpresto is celebrating a quartet of classic Namco games by embossing a regulation-issue silver or black Zippo with images from the likes of Pac-Man and Dig Dug. The four lighters are as follows:

» Pac-Man - The famous dot-eater appears with three ghosts
» Galaxian - A regiment of Galaxians float above a lone shooter
» Xevious - Solvalou flies near an enemy installation
» Dig Dug - A miner named Dig Dug blows up a Pooka

   The original game logos are also etched onto the respective Zippos and reservations are welcome to ship on or around January 21, 2010 at JPY10,000 each or US$108.90 from NCS.

 «©NCSX» If we were commissioned with the task of creating sound keychains based on classic Namco games, Xevious and Famista wouldn't have been our first choices. The music in Xevious is distinctive but it's also numbingly monotonous in a loopy sort of way. Famista's BGM isn't distinctive at all and fits into the "ditty" category of music. Bandai has no qualms however and the first two Namco Classic Game Sound Controllers are based on the sound effects and BGM clips from Xevious and Famista.
   Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late March 2009 at JPY900 or US$13.90 each from NCS.

Fast forward two decades and Street Fighter's still going strong so Bandai pays love and respect by announcing the Street Fighter II Game Sound Controller which is being sold in three variants:

» Black - Features the voices and grunts of Ryu, Blanka, and Sagat
» Red - Listen to the utterances of Ken, E. Honda, and Guile
» Blue - Chun-Li, Dhalsim, and Vega speak and sound off

 «©NCSX» Tekken 6 was a big deal when it was released last week and we're still playing the game. Our mileage for a new title is usually about 2 hours before we go on to the next game. Tekken 6 is special and Hori grabs a piece of that action by releasing a pair of Tekken 6 themed Real Arcade Pro joysticks which arrived on Monday. All preorders have shipped already and new orders are welcome for dispatch today.

    Based directly off the actual movie prop from the blockbuster Iron Man, using reference from Stan Winston Studios, we bring you Tony's "heart" as given to him by his thoughful assistant Pepper! The arc reactor supplies energy to an electromagnet, which prevents embedded shrapnel from reaching Tony Stark's heart. No expense was spared to replicate the details exactly, from the machined metal parts and copper wire to the high intensity LEDs.

   The Arc Reactor measures 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" and is made from machined aluminum, stainless steel, custom molded plastic, Removable from the stand, the prop includes a plexi-glass display case and a full-color Certificate of Authenticity. Preorders ship on January 27, 2010.

However, with the help of his fairy companion Navi and a host of other friendly faces, he sets out on an adventure across time to banish the evil forces of Ganondorf from Hyrule!
   First 4 Figures is hugely proud to present Link from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time game! His pose shows him winding up for his signature spin attack. Not only has Link been faithfully recreated, but so has the Master Sword and Hylian Shield.     Imported from the UK! First 4 Figures is proud to present Zant, the first in the 1/4 scale “Master Arts” line of Twilight Princess Centerpieces.

   Zant was a servant of the Royal Family of the Twilight Realm who had devoted his life to serving them in the hopes of eventually succeeding them. However, he despised them for not taking any action to rid the Twili of their misery, and was eventually passed over due to his obvious greed and ambition. Rejected, disenfranchised and bitter Zant met Evil Ganondorf, who appeared to him as a god and promised to grant him untold power in exchange for his loyalty. Zant accepted and became so empowered, he became the self proclaimed “King of Twlighlight” at the expense of the Twili who were turned into shadow beasts. Only the bearer of the Triforce of Courage could be brave enough to face Zant, leading to a showdown of epic proportions!

   Zant is wearing his distinctive helmet and armor. The helmet’s tongue is removable which reveals his mouth. He also comes with fully detailed clothing. The green line detail on the sleeves is luminous so it glows in the dark, creating an eerie effect. The white detail work on the base is also luminous. At 1/4 scale, he measures approximately 21 inches tall, including the base. Cast in high quality poly-stone, the statue is hand finished and hand painted. Comes dressed in an incredibly detailed and authentic hand tailored fabric costume. Created from official Twilight Princess game files has allowed First 4 Figures to faithfully recreate Zant’s distinct style and add fine detail.
