«©NCSX» In the original Dragon Quest games, the slimes were just enemies to be smacked and slain in very short order. In dungeon crawling lingo, the slimes were "cannon fodder." As the slimes grew in popularity and stature within the Dragon Quest universe, they began to take on other roles. There was even a couple of Dragon Quest games in which a Blue Slime played the part of protagonist. It was in Slime Morimori Dragon Quest where we watched a Slime ricochet off walls, squeeze itself into a puddle, and dash through dungeons. The Slime could even stack fellow Slimes on top of itself by dashing into the beasts to launch them upwards and then catching the falling beasts on the top of its head to make a tower.

   Square Enix brings the Slime Tower to life with their upcoming Dragon Quest IX Smile Slime Tower Plush which features a Blue Slime on the bottom, an Orange Slime in the middle, and a Green Slime crowning the whole shebang. Preorders are welcome for a "Small" version (US$15.90) which measures 16cm tall and a Medium version (US$38.90) which towers 31cm in height. Reservations will ship in mid-late December 2009.

    The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks sets hero Link on a daring new adventure. The game provides players with a new story, more puzzles and even a new mode of transportation. In this game, Link voyages by train, which offers up new possibilities for problem-solving. Link has a valuable new companion. While navigating dungeons, he’s accompanied by a Phantom, a hulking suit of armor that responds to his commands. Players can tap the Phantom to take command of him, then draw a line on the touch screen to direct him where to go. The stout Phantom can walk through fire or lava, be used as a platform to carry Link above dangers, or even run interference to block Link from harm. Preorders ship on December 23, 2009 and all reservations will include a bonus clear feather-shaped stylus that's packaged in a green gem-shaped case.

«©NCSX» Publisher Comfort's Princess Saver! game was originally released on the Japanese PC in the summer of 2008 but it's headed for the Playstation 2 early next year. In the game, players take on the role of a young man who enters a life of privilege and attends the prestigious Xiufeng Private Academy where he interacts with the student body and a celebrity princess. The PS2 conversion of Princess Saver features a new heroine, one new scenario, a new opening song, and 30 additional events.
   Preorders are welcome for a regular edition of the game which includes a bonus Original Drama CD in 1:1 ratio and a limited edition which is bundled with a special pillowcase, a maxi single CD, and a school calendar. The original Drama CD is also included with every copy of the limited edition. Reservations will ship on January 28, 2010.

 «©NCSX» Brand new and factory boxed copy of Battletoads for the Sega Game Gear handheld. Battletoads was released during a time when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Samurai Penguin, and other animal heroes were all the rage in comic books.

Product Condition
   NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed from our original warehouse inventory. The product packaging is in overall very good shape but the cardboard has slight scuffing, dings, and/or minor markings caused by years of warehouse-to-warehouse transport.

Sale Offering
   Pricing per copy of BattleToads is set at US$22.90 each. If you reside within the continental US, NCS recommends shipping by USPS Media Mail for the most economical domestic carriage cost. International customers can select USPS First Class Airmail International which delivers within 6-12 days pending normal customs clearance.
