Earlier this summer,
Disney and Kotobukiya started accepting preorders for a
limited edition
DVD Fireball
Drossel Winter Package.
The reservation period took place between July 2 to
August 31 and the wait comes to an end this week.
The Fireball Drossel Winter Package contains a DVD
and an exclusive figma which looks like a robot
that's been inspired by a candy cane. Drossel has
been a superstar in the Japanese toy market this
year and the new figma is the third major rendition
of the droll robotic heroine. The packaging includes
a pair of red ski poles which Drossel may grip in
her hands, a fuzzy cap, a festive "leg warmer," and
a red pack that's attached to her back.
The DVD's contents include the 13 episodes of Drossel, a "Making
of" featurette (3 minutes), a Drossel Trailer that
was shown at the Tokyo International Anime Fair 2008
( 2 min, 42 secs), Disney Channel Station ID (10
seconds), and a 15 second TV commercial. PC
screensavers may also be found on the DVD.
