Sort of.    From humble beginnings in the Vocaloid2 software, Miku has become a merchandising superstar in Japan. Popular characters tend to experience a snowball effect where their fame keeps rolling onwards. It's unclear if Miku will reach mythic status in a few years but we think she has a good chance and all the toys being released now might be sought after by future generations.
