 «©NCSX» A new character in an animated serial has to be relatively ingrained into the mind space of target audiences before a toy manufacturer sculpts him/her into a PVC figure. That's what we've observed over the years but it's not a hard rule that's followed by every company. Maybe Mari's special since she's a new character in the legendary Evangelion franchise but we would have preferred a little time and leeway before she made it to the toy market. The first figure featuring Mari comes courtesy of Wave but we're a little leery of how well she'll do in a fickle and soft market. She looks good enough overall with clean lines and colors but her face looks a little "off" which we attribute to her Mona Lisa-esque smile. Mari measures 16.50cm or 6.49" tall which is 1/10 scale.     When the humidifier is blowing mist, please do not unscrew the dome of the humidifier while it is misting vapor because you will damage the heating element in the unit. We broke one while doing our testing.

 «©NCSX» During the winter months, the heat in our office building gets cranked up pretty high so that the air becomes dry and uncomfortable. It's a relative scorcher indoors whilst the temperature outdoors is freezing. To alleviate the problem of arid office air, NCS doesn't use a humidifier. We just go around each room with an olde school atomizer and mist the air a few times every day. That routine be coming to an end however since Taito has released an R2-D2 USB Humidifier which heats water up and releases it in a stream of cool vapor.
    Roughly 2 ounces of water is stored in R2-D2's lil' body which is vaporized by the heater-siphon that's connected to R2's dome. Once the water is hot enough, cool fan-propelled steam will begin to stream out of the porthole on the top of the humidifier. «Photo Gallery»

 «©NCSX» After a few weeks of news inertia on Espgaluda II LE, NCS received information over the weekend about how many copies we'll be able to purchase. The confirmed allocation ratio is 1:3 which means we're allowed to buy 1 copy of Espgaluda II Limited Edition for every 3 copies of the regular edition that we've already submitted reservations for.

   Since we know how many we'll be receiving, preorders are welcome starting today to ship on February 25, 2010. NCS can guarantee all preorders for the limited edition of Espgaluda II while the reservation period is open. We've already paid for the game and the quantity we've been allocated won't be reduced, sold to another vendor, or otherwise misappropriated. NCS will close preorders once our allocation is sold out. If you've contacted NCS requesting a reservation, we have already held one for you pending your confirmation at the listed price of $146.90.

   The Espgaluda II LE package includes a bonus 2-disc soundtrack that is packaged inside the DVD case. A bonus Xbox 360 faceplate featuring Ceceri (viewable on our shopping gallery) is also included in the limited edition of the game. Preorders are welcome to ship on February 25, 2010.

     Japanese distributors received their allocations of PSP Senjou No Valkyria 2 Gallia Ouritsu Shikan Gakkou last Thursday but we asked them to hold our shipments because the bonus Document of Gallia 1936 booklet packs didn't arrive yet. The bonuses should be  distributed tonight and we should receive a batch of Valkyria 2 on Wednesday. As a general rule of thumb, Sega's games are generally available to wholesale distribution a week before the official release date in Japan.
