NDS Minna no Conveni JPN

New Import: US$53.90/ea

SKU/JAN Code: 4988611209196

NDS Minna no Conveni - New Import, In Stock
NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Operating a convenience store ain't all that. The hours are grueling, the profit margins are thin, and there's a problem with shrinkage. That's retail lingo for theft. Instead of calling it outright theft however, shop operators massage the word and soften it into something innocuous like "shrinkage." If you've ever wanted to run a convenience store but didn't want to confront the "shrinkers," Minna no Conveni affords you the fantasy of being a shopkeeper who does it all in a world without crime.
From manning the cash register to stocking the shelves to choosing the product mix in the store, players try to make bank by running a Conveni. Popular products lead to higher foot traffic which leads to more sales. More sales means more profits and all that commerce leads to expansion and eventual world domination by way of donuts, trinkets, and soda pop.

PSP Tenchu 4 Plus JPN

New Import: US$35.90/ea

SKU/JAN Code: 4949776312107

PSP Tenchu 4 Plus - New Import, In Stock
NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Rikimaru and Ayame are back as stealth assassins under the employ of Lord Gohda who skulk in dark places and attack with sword slashes and one-hit killing blows. Tenchu 4 emphasizes the use of stealth and the game provides a bevy of shadowy places to hide, wait, and attack from. The environments are darkly lit which also attend to a ninja's need for stealth. Unsuspecting enemies who approach Rikimaru's general vicinity but are unaware of his presence may be killed with a single critical stroke. For example, when a hapless victim draws near, Riki can grab him and then perform a powerful blow to the head which kills him instantly. Rikimaru can also topple an enemy from afar by throwing a single shuriken which causes the victim lose his balance and fall to his death. Another killing attack allows Rikimaru to choke someone for about a second but that single second is all that it takes to induce the long sleep. Dead bodies may be stored in large urns or pulled behind bushes to hide them from view. That way, they won't alert any other guards to Riki or Ayame's presence.

As the story goes, a rival of Gohda has kidnapped his daughter Kiku-Hime and spirited her away to an unknown domain. Rikimaru and Ayame are charged with venturing forth and rescuing the Princess. Tenchu's original developer Acquire returns to the franchise that they built and the "Plus" edition of Tenchu 4 includes a new ad hoc communication mode where players can skulk together in stealth-slash-kill missions. The game also features new skills when multiple players collaborate together.

From the Publisher
From renowned developer PlatinumGames comes a highly stylized, over-the-top brawler created exclusively for the Wii. A terrorist group known as the Organizers has taken over Varrigan City, forcing all citizens into their insane Death Watch game, where "kill or be killed" is the only rule. As Jack, a mysterious game participant, players will set ingenious traps, use imaginative tactics to pummel opponents and battle in vicious hand-to-hand combat with daggers, bats, chainsaws and more using the arcade-style controls of the Wii Remote. While the spectacular mayhem ensues, enthusiastic sports announcers entertain the spectators with humorous commentary detailing the game highlights. The bloodiest, most creative kills earn the most points and increase the chances that Jack can save the terrorized city - let the games begin!
  • Exciting, visceral gameplay. Created exclusively for the Wii, MADWORLD features fast and instinctive arcade-style gameplay with brutal finishing moves delivered by the Wii Remote and Nunchuk.
  • Massive playing field to explore. Varrigan City is divided into six completely unique areas. Anything in the environment - sign posts, garbage cans, passing trains, etc. can be used to attack enemies.

 NEWS General Updates
WEATHER Phil Was Right
«©NCSX» Snow fell all day on Thursday in NYC; there was a respite in the morning but that was the literal calm before the storm. The snow fell all night and it's still dropping this morning. According to the tanned weather guy on TV, snow will be coming down consistently until tomorrow morning.
Punxsutawney Phil saw its shadow earlier this month and that's why the yoke of winter is still upon us. Snow isn't caused by atmospheric conditions, numbing temperatures, or moisture content high up in the sky. Snow is ultimately caused by a little groundhog.
X360 Espgaluda II Black Label - Restock on Monday
«©NCSX» NCS' third batch of Espgaluda II Regular Edition is scheduled to arrive on Monday. The third batch should still be from the first printing of the game but we'll reconfirm on Monday morning.
PS3 End of Eternity Bonus Soundtrack
«©NCSX» A Japanese vendor offered us an allocation of the End of Eternity Bonus Soundtrack and we've imported all of them earlier in the week. The bonus was supposed to be given away for free in Japan but it seems vendors are trading and shopping them around instead. We'll post a formal offer on Monday along with photos.

PCE Turbo Stick JPN

Olde Import: US$46.90/ea

SKU/JAN Code: 4904323916139

SOTW PC-Engine Turbo Stick - Clearance
NCS Sale of the Week Offering: February 22, 2010
Original Release in Japan: October
01, 1988
«©NCSX» Brand new and factory boxed PC-Engine Turbo Stick for the PC-Engine which was NEC's first and last joystick controller for their own console. NCS recalls the sentiment in Japan back in the day when joypads were looked upon more favorably than clunky joysticks which required a lap in addition to two hands. The Turbo Stick originally retailed for JPY6800 which we considered too high given the market situation in 1988. The stick looks like a plastic toy but it's comfortable to grasp and has a turbo-fire function which can be adjusted by sliding the buttons located on the upper right corner of the joystick.

Product Condition

NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed in the original cardboard container with Styrofoam retainer within. The condition of the packaging is in good structural shape but please note that there are slight signs of wear and weathering caused by decades of storage. The joysticks inside are however in brand new and never-used condition. Even though they're over 20 years old at this point, the joystick and the plastic packaging are still fresh and probably eternal. PVC/ABS never dies. Please note however that the tape which NEC used on the sides of the box has yellowed, deteriorated, and disintegrated.

Sale Offering

Pricing per PC-Engine Turbo Stick is set at US$46.90 each. If you reside in the USA, NCS recommends USPS Ground shipping for the most economical domestic service. «NCS Photo Gallery»
