«©NCSX» Lightning struck (sorry) when Final Fantasy XIII shipped on the Japanese Playstation 3 late last year to eager fans around the globe. Sure, most stateside players couldn't read the text in the adventure but that didn't stop gamers from doling out a nifty US$100 for a chance to check out the latest Final Fantasy adventure. A treasure trove of merchandise has already been released to dovetail with the game but Square keeps the gravy train rolling with some more goodies this year.

   For the first week of March, NCS brings in the FFXIII Original Lightning Strap which features a black metal plate with silver-colored trim that's jagged like a bolt of lightning. Get it? Lightning. The plate measures H15 x W29 x D2mm in dimension and a pair of Swarovski crystals are embedded on one end of the bolt. A second smaller plate measuring H35 x W5 x D1mm is also tethered to the retaining loop. «©NCSX» Professor Hershel Layton is an experienced problem/puzzle solver and his young assistant Luke Triton isn't too shabby himself. They're both starring in Furyu's new Professor Layton Kyouju Strap which is part of the "Eternal Diva" movie merchandise. Each strap consists of a colorful plastic character piece, a purple plastic gemstone, and a glossy black finger strap with loop attachment. The Professor Layton Eternal Diva logo is printed on the side of the black finger strap to ensure recognition. Each strap and character measures approximately 3" in length. 
   Joining Layton and Luke in the Kyouju Strap are two females - Remi Altiwa in her trademark yellow outfit and the lanky ginger named Flora who wears a pink dress and was also in Pandora's Box. Preorders have shipped as of yesterday and new orders are welcome to ship today. Photo Gallery

 «©NCSX» Spring is just a few weeks away and the cherry blossoms on trees are set to bloom once temperatures begin averaging in the 50s. Dogwood trees are also scheduled to shoot out bunches of pink blossoms to greet onlookers as Spring marches into view. Although the Blossom Pink PSP can't match the majesty of Mother Nature, it looks pretty snazzy anyway. NCS attempts to use the word "snazzy" at least once a year.

   The closest approximation of the type of pink that Sony paints the Blossom Pink PSP is lipstick. To be exact, "Pink Diamond" lipstick because the PSP has a glossy shimmer to it. Stare at the pink patina and marvel at how the color matches the hue on the lips of Kogals who've applied a little too much Pink Diamond. All preorders have shipped as of yesterday and new orders are welcome to ship this afternoon.

 «©NCSX» Brand new and factory boxed Ten no Koe 2 Bank for the PC-Engine which is a save-data accessory. Back in the day when the PC-Engine was a contender, RAM was expensive so companies like NEC opted to not include any S-RAM in their consoles to keep costs down. The PC-Engine did not have any internal save-ram for data storage but the Tennokoe 2 Bank adds that function with a whopping 2K of S-Ram. You read that right. 2K. Once the Tennokoe 2 is connected to the back of the PC-Engine, games that support data-saving can now be stored to memory and the option will appear on the game's title or menu screen.
   To access the menu of the Tennokoe 2 Bank, press the "SELECT" button and three options will appear (in Japanese):

(1) View contents of RAM (2) Format RAM (erase) (3) Return to game

   The Tennokoe Bank requires two AA batteries. Two AA batteries are included in the product packaging but please note that they're most likely dead since it's been over 20 years old since the Bank was released.

Product Condition
   NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed in the original cardboard container. The condition of the packaging is in excellent structural shape with no signs of wear or weathering. The Tennokoe 2 Banks are in brand new and pristine condition.
