New orders are welcome for the European version of
Demon's Souls - a title
which Asian and North American gamers have
been playing since 2009. Why the delay for Europe?
Maybe demons are scary and only one continent at a
time can handle them. The European edition is termed
the "Black Phantom Edition" which includes the
following:
» Demon's Soul game (PS3 games are region-free and
playable anywhere)
» Demon's Souls Soundtrack CD
» Demon's Souls hardcover illustrations booklet
» Demon's Souls strategy guide
Everything's packaged in a slipcase that's
similar in size and design to the North American
deluxe pack. Preorders are shipping today at the
original price which we are honoring but new orders
will be priced at US$92.90 due to higher than
expected costs to import this title to the US.
Demon's Souls Description
King Allant the XII, the last king of Boletaria,
searched tirelessly to expand his might. The Nexus,
a great ice shrine nestled in the mountains,
bestowed the power of the souls onto him, bringing
prosperity to his kingdom. Still unsated, he
returned again to the Nexus, where he foolishly
awakened the Old One from its eternal slumber. This
long forgotten evil, now wrought upon Boletaria,
plunged the realm into darkness and fog. A mighty
demon horde poured into the kingdom, devouring the
souls of men.
Champions from other realms learned of
Boletaria's fate and sought to deliver the kingdom
from evil; none would return from the cursed land.
Called upon by a mysterious maiden in black, you go
forth, the last hope for humanity in a place lost to
demons and darkness.
