NDS Keshikasu-kun Battle JPN

New Import: $58.90/each

JAN/SKU Code: 4988602151848

NDS Keshikasu-kun Battle Kas-tival - New Import, In Stock
NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» The Japanese manga and television hero named Keshikasu-kun is a chalk-colored eraser who talks with a gruff voice and owns a pair of bulging eyes. Those kinds of eyes are known as "crazy eyes" and they're found on humans as well. Usually humans of the female gender.
In the new Keshikasu-kun video game from Konami, an incident at school caused by a dark lord sends Keshikasu on a mission of discovery, exploration, and 100 fighting-themed mini-games. The chalk-colored eraser engages in various events and battles rival stationary products such as pencils, paperclips, rubber stamps, and other uppity instruments from stores named Office Depot and Staples. In addition to using the stylus to smack down enemies, Keshikasu-kun occasionally requires a burst of air in some mini-games and that's your cue to blow into the microphone with gale-force winds.

Aoshima decides to change careers and enters the police force after being trained as a detective. He's assigned to the Wangan Police Department by a board of elderly police officials who express some doubts as to his qualifications. However, there's a shortage of policemen in Japan and they grudgingly send him to Wangan to be a jurisdictional officer.
The Oforu Daisosasen (Bayside Shakedown) television series and movies were very popular in Japan and "The Game" adaptation arrives this week in Japan. In the game, players take on the role of Shunsaku who battles the monsters of bureaucracy, professional animosity, apathy, and general inefficiency in the Japanese crime fighting ranks.

PSP Busou Shinki Battle JPN

New Import: $60.90/each

JAN/SKU Code: 4988602151510

PSP Busou Shinki Battle Masters - New Import, In Stock
NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Konami's Battle Rondo MMORPG is a game universe designed to engender interest in a line of toys dubbed "Busou Shinki" which Konami peddles in Japan. One could call the MMORPG an elaborate gimmick that creates buzz, generates toy sales, and imparts depth to the toy figures with somewhat interesting background stories. Sorta like what the Transformers cartoons did for the Transformers toys.

In the Battle Rondo game, players enter a code that's included with a Busou Shinki toy which creates a female robot who fights other female robots in turn-based arena combat. The robots can be upgraded with performance enhancing parts, weapons, and
armor to bump up their offensive and defensive capabilities against opponents.

The new Busou Shinki: Battle Masters for the PSP is an offshoot of the Battle Rondo universe but instead of turn-based tactical interplay, Battle Masters is a 3D action game which is fraught with lengthy interactive conversation sequences. Previews of the game evince lazy references to the PSP Gundam games with melee attacks, blazing projectile launches, jumping, jetting, and a versatile camera which takes in all of the action. Matches are punctuated by the yelping of young girls who squeak and utter assorted sayings while engaging in battle. Depending on your tolerance level for the snippy sounds of female "yelping," the PSP volume button might see some heavy action.

PSP Hello Kitty Block Crash JPN

New Import: $45.90/each

JAN/SKU Code: 4546907401350

PSP Hello Kitty to Issho! Block Crash 123!! - New Import
NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Atari gave arcade goers something to play all the way back in 1976 with a game called Breakout. Players controlled a horizontal stick which batted a ball at colored bricks overhead. The gist of the game was to continue hitting the ball until all the bricks were cleared. Over a quarter of a century later, Sanrio licenses Hello Kitty's image to Dorasu for a new "Breakout" game where a paddle is maneuvered on the bottom of the screen to bat a ball at colorful bricks overhead. The adage "Everything old is new again," would be apt right about now.

Although the Hello Kitty license probably cost a pretty penny to procure, the main actors in the game are 10 cookie-cutter girl characters illustrated by Okama, Keito Koume, POP,
Aoi Nishimata, and other artists. The protagonists look like they'd fit right into any anime drama-comedy show since they all have the proper amount of polish and attractiveness to merit work in front of the camera. One of the heroines bears a resemblance to Card Captor Sakura. The girls wear Hello Kitty buttons, hats, and other paraphernalia which is as suitable a use of the Hello Kitty license as any.

Hello Kitty to Issho! Block Crash 123!! features 100 stages along with another 100 arranged stages to play. By meeting certain conditions during the course of the game, players can unlock a PSP Clock function and a PSP Calendar. Players who are diligent enough to complete the game will also unlock an "Endless Mode" to enjoy.

PSP Last Ranker JPN

New Import: $63.90/each

JAN/SKU Code: 4976219034333

PSP Last Ranker - New Import, Restock Soon
NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Bored with the tedious traditions amongst his nomadic people, a fighter named Zig decides that he'd rather fight for glory than follow the path of an ordinary Cantelera life. Zig wants to reach the top of the brawling pecking order in the Bazalta military organization which is the largest in the world at 100,000 members strong. Before he can ascend to the throne however, he has to defeat the elite Knights of Seven. Ranked by their position within the Knights, the first fighter that Zig has to beat is called the "7th Ranker" and she's a ginger with moxie.

Taking on the Knights won't be easy and Zig has to fight his way through the rabble first before getting a shot at the members of the echelon. To rise up in the ranks, Zig enters "Ranking Battles" where a win notches him one rank higher whilst a loss docks him by a rank. By diligently fighting competitors and scaling higher in rank, Zig eventually gets to show his mettle against the Knights of Seven.

Capcom's Last Ranker isn't a fighting game. It just sounds like one. Ranker is actually an RPG with simulated action sequences where attacks and defensive measures are triggered by button presses. The fighting isn't Tekken-esque but turn-based with moves, special attacks, and sword styles chosen by the player during each round. Early preorders will include a bonus Last Ranker Piano Trio Arrange soundtrack that's being given away by Capcom in 30% ratio

PSP Naruto Shippuden Kizuna JPN

New Import: $53.90/each

JAN/SKU Code: 4582224493364

PSP Naruto Shippuden Kizuna Drive - New Import, In Stock
NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Naruto teams up with fellow ninja and goes out into the world to fight, jump, and unleash special powers from within against enemy forces.

In Kizuna Drive, players select a total of four protagonists from a large cast roster which includes Naruto franchise stalwarts such as Kakashi, Rock Lee,
Shikamaru Nara, Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha, Karin, Juugo, and more for a total of 15 fighters. Once the team is created, a host of missions await where they'll battle assortments of enemies and monsters. The "Kizuna Link" system allows the heroes to perform cooperative special attacks which light up the screen and destroy oversized monsters who are on the hunt. Kizuna attacks generate "Kizuna Points" which may be accumulated to obtain special skills for use on the battlefield.

During an encounter with an enemy hooligan, players will control one active character such as Naruto while the other three team members stand around the local area as supporters. To call upon a team member to perform an attack, press the D-pad up or down to select someone and then press the "SQUARE" button to dole out a body blow. Along with standard attacks, jutsus, chakra attacks, and shuriken may also be used during battle. Four players may link up via ad hoc mode and engage in missions that are backed by an original storyline.
With four ninja fighting at once, the screen gets busy with bodies running, jumping, and attacking in concert like a gang.

Wii DQM Battle Road Victory JPN

New Import: $65.90/each

JAN/SKU Code: 4988601006613

Wii Dragon Quest Monsters Battle Road Victory - New Import
NCS Product Synopsis
Original Update:
Update: May 18, 2010
«©NCSX» Late last year, NCS was budgeting our coin-op expenditures for the winter of 2009 and we considered Dragon Quest Monsters Battle Road II Legends since the machine would look great in our little gaming room. The market was roaring back and our trading positions were favorable which usually meant available dosh. Then we started really looking at the game's play mechanics. While seemingly enjoyable in a button-mashing, sword shaking, frenetic light show of an action-packed "RPG," we eventually decided that the sizable cost of importation wasn't worth it.

When the summer of 2010 rolls around, our decision would appear to the correct one when Square Enix releases the game on the Wii for a measly JPY5800. "But you don't get the feel of the arcade controller," someone shouts from the crowd. Oh yes you do. Thanks to Hori, a special sword controller is also being released this summer so that gamers can play the game in style and pound the buttons as well as twist the sword just like they would when playing the coin-op.

   The Wii conversion of
Dragon Quest Monsters Battle Road II Legends is titled Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road Victory and players use simple button commands to battle monsters and heroes from the entire run of Dragon Quest adventures. The sword is used to enact special attacks by twisting it or thumping downwards on it. A large collection of battle and character cards have already been released for the coin-op and they're all compatible with the Wii conversion of the game. As long as you have a DSi and the necessary DSiWare camera software to scan the cards, you're good to go. For players who want to experience the game but don't need a massive controller to enjoy the experience, the Wii Remote by its lonesome works fine as an alternate control scheme.

All preorders for the DQM Battle Road Victory game and controller are shipping today. Please note that the controller is sold out but we'll update our shops if they're made available again from Japanese vendors.

TOYS Kubrick 400% C-3PO JPN

New Import: $109.90/each

JAN/SKU Code: 4530956172798

TOYS Kubrick 400% Star Wars C-3PO - New Import, In Stock
NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» The Kubrick 400% versions of Han Solo and Luke Skywalker in Storm Trooper outfits were released 5 years ago and they sold like gangbusters. The Darth Vader 400% sold well but too many of those were produced and they saturated the market which led to precipitous price drops. For the next Kubrick 400% Star Wars figure, Medicom turns their attention to the verbose and golden one.

No, not Donald Trump but the wise and slightly batty C-3PO who has seen more action than most language bots should have a right to witness. C-3PO measures 30cm or 11.81" tall and sparkles like a spit-shined hubcap. Medicom is limiting the production to only 1000 units and all preorders are shipping today at JPY9800 or US$109.90.
