NCS Product Synopsis «©NCSX» Archer, Saber, and the rest of the gang from the "Fate Stay" franchise are back but instead of full-out fisticuffs, they're supporting characters engaged in a role-playing game. The kind that contains natty cut-scenes and the occasional interaction sequence to move the story along. Although Fate/Extra is a remake of the original Fate/Stay Night PC game (2004), it has been rewritten and revamped with cast members from Ataraxia and Fate Zero. The action sequences in Fate / Extra are brand new where the protagonist and servants go dungeon crawling in brightly tinted labyrinths.    Players join the Holy Grail War by selecting and naming a male or female protagonist who becomes a Master that's bound to a Servant who helps its master win the war. Note that Shiro Emiya does not make an appearance in the game and his role is co-opted by the player's protagonist. The three servants in the game are Saber, Archer, and Caster who join the player's party.
