 «©NCSX» The year 2010 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Neo Geo console. Even though the Neo Geo is an orphan nowadays, it nevertheless lives on in the hearts of staunch adherents across the globe and a steady stream of Playstation 2 re-release compilations and hardware rehashes. The next hardware rehash is a "20th Anniversary" version of the classic Neo Geo joystick but it's unclear what changes are built into the stick since no photos have been released yet. The color will probably be changed and maybe there'll be a turbo-fire function integrated into the buttons.
   Sight unseen then, Japanese vendors and NCS are accepting preorders for the Neo Geo Stick 2+ which is scheduled to ship on September 30, 2010 which is delayed from the original date of May 27, 2010. Additional information and/or photographs will be posted once further details are released by the manufacturer Exar. Please note that this is a re-solicitation for the Neo Geo Stick 2+ from Exar's distributor.

The next hardware rehash is a new version of the Neo Geo Pad which was originally packaged with the Neo Geo CD console with a clicky directional pad and soft-touch buttons. The upcoming Neo Geo Pad is a digital controller which is compatible with the Playstation 3 as well as Windows PCs.

   Preorders are welcome for the Neo Geo Pad USB which is scheduled to ship on October 28, 2010. Pricing is set at JPY2980 or US$39.90 from NCS. Additional information and/or photographs will be posted once further details are released by the manufacturer Exar.

«©NCSX» Konami releases a limited edition Miu Matsuoka figure where the little rascal dons a stewardess uniform and relaxes on an airliner seat. Her prim uniform makes Miu appear very professional (although we know she's not) and her hair is tucked underneath a tasteful cap. Blue braids keep the rest of Miu's hair carefully tied together.

   Normally very excitable, Miu steps down the adrenaline and chills out while enjoying a beverage. She appears to be on her break and a serving tray sits alongside her on the seat. Miu's knees knock together and she grips a mug with both hands. We're guessing cocoa with a splash of vodka swishes around inside.

   The figure is being released under the Konami Figure Collection label and measures 15cm tall. The figure and the airline seat are both constructed of PVC and ABS plastic.

   Pricing per Miu Matsuoka toy figure is set at US$39.90 which includes free shipping via UPS Ground within the United States. We thought it was odd that a store on Rakuten sells this figure for JPY9800 or about US$114 and we've apportioned a couple of these on Ebay at US$89 + shipping to test the otherworldly economy of the Ebay ecosystem. «NCS Photo Gallery»
