RAIDEN, the enormously popular central character
from the mega hit action game "Metal Gear Rising
Revengence," is recreated as a PVC statue.
The heroic pose, grabbing a "SELF REPAIR UNIT"
extracted ("ZANDATSU KILL") from the enemy
cyborg soldier in his left hand, and his HF
blade in the right, highlights the best part of
Akao's technique. The statue features a
well-balanced & beautiful muscular body which
also illustrates his outstanding skill. The
highly detailed mechanical designs of the
weapons and overlapping armor are digitally
sculpted by Akao's brother. This is their first
collaboration.
The eye glows red with a mounted LED in the
head. The closed visor for battle mode is
available with optional parts. The "HF MURASAMA
BLADE" left by his worthy rival, Jetstream Sam,
is interchangeable in his right hand, and the
scabbard in his left hand. As for the cyborg
soldier lying at his feet, shows not only the
abject cut surface of the body, but also "the
expression of the dying arm" trying to
say something. This masterpiece thoroughly
supervised by Yoji Shinkawa (the art director of
Kojima Production) is the most "pictorial" and
"beautiful" RAIDEN ever.

Synopsis
The Evangelion
handlers Rei, Asuka, and Shinji present a music rhythm
game which is played on a hexagonal grid. As the music
plays, streams of light move vertically, horizontally,
and diagonally on the grid and the player's job is to
tap the corresponding face buttons just as the streams
hit the designated points on the screen. Over 30 songs
and remixes are featured in the game arranged by
Akira Yamaoka. The game
was developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published
by Namco Bandai games.

The early part of Evangelion JO sets up the
story of NERV, the Evangelion, and the Angels
who are wreaking havoc on Tokyo III. After the
basis of the drama has been established,
Shinji arrives at Geofront where he pilots
EVA-01 into battle against an invading Angel.
The first encounter is primarily a cinematic
affair which features very limited input on
the part of the player but subsequent battles
are full action games where the Evangelion is
controlled directly and sent into battle
against each successive Angel. In between the
battles, Shinji's relationships with Misato,
Rei, Asuka, and others grows as his inner
evolution takes hold.

An Evangelion
handler slithers into a plug suit in
order to optimize synchronization with
the Evangelion. Once inside the Entry
Plug and immersed in LCL, the
children's skin-tight plug suits also
help to keep their skin relatively LCL-free
once they emerge from the plug.
Kotobukiya
recreates the plug suit uniform in a
1/8 scale diorama which features both
Asuka Langley and Rei Ayanami figures
which each measure roughly 18cm or 7"
in their brightly colored plug suits.
Both gals are lounging with Asuka
apparently content with leaning
against the docile Rei. An oval-shaped
NERV base is included inside the
packaging which serves as a foundation
upon which the girls alight.

tall. Some assembly is required - for
example, the heads of both Asuka and Rei
head must be docked with their bodies
before they're presentable. A

and a little piece of cellophane-wrapped
gum is included for the toy collector to
chew up.
