Despite our protestations, the R2-D2 exploitation will probably
never end so if we can't
beat 'em, we join 'em.
NCS shamelessly engages
in the peddling of R2-D2
products and we're
selling the soy sauce
bottles today. Each
droid holds about 4 oz
of liquid in its
barrel-like body and the
dome on top twists off
for easy access to its
innards. We tried
filling R2 with water,
milk, vodka, and soy
sauce and everything
poured out with ease.
That is, until we tried
olive oil which was too
viscous to make it
through the droid's
pour-hole. Each droid
measures 5" tall and
there are no moving
parts so the soy sauce
bottles should last for
a long time with proper
care.
