Dokyusei 2, or Classmate 2 is the latest hentai oriented dating adventure from the masters of the genre at Elf. Whereas the last Elf adventure Kakyusei let you date various undergraduates from your college, Classmate 2 returns to the high school environment that Elf started in Classmate ~If~. The main portion of the game is played on an overhead view map where you walk around your neighborhood, school and locality to initiate encounters with your classmates and other people. You have one entire school semester to interact with 15 girls who have their own tastes, temperaments and situations that you can get involved in. One of the trademarks of any Elf adventure is the sexual innuendo and graphics.

		Once you initiate an encounter, you talk to the girls by pointing and clicking on questions, responses and various actions that you can perform. If you're charming, you'll get a date with the girl.

		The girls can and will get themselves in various situations in which you can intervene. In the picture to the right, a guy is harassing one of the girls. You can play the part of hero and get him away from her.

		This particular girl has a pair of coke bottle glasses and as such, gets into many accidents and other situations that exemplify her awkwardness. Some pictures depict the lens of her glasses in a swirling, hynoptic pattern. Somewhat cruel of Elf. However, she is another classmate and offers a personality that is interesting to interact with. As mentioned earlier, there is a total of 15 girls that you can try to date. They're a diverse lot, just like what we find in real life, with some girls being more mature than others. There is even a biker chick who rides her hog to school and a teacher that you can befriend and perhaps even go out on a date with.

		The player with a modicum of charm will go on dates and perhaps more. As is Elf's credo, the girls will dress in lingerie...

		...and a lot less than that. A lot of what we find in Elf's games are innuendo and implied. The suggestion of anything happening is done tastefully and without an extreme edge that might offend softer sensibilities. The pictures never get too graphic and some of the nudes may be considered more artistic than they are erotic. Games such as the PC-FX game Pia: Welcome to Carrot are a lot more risque and graphically intense than what we find in Classmate and games such as Kakyusei and Nonomura Byouin No Hitobito. Still, the rating of Classmate 2 is MA-18 so it is prohibited for sale to minors under the age of 18.
