Takara's DX Nihon Tokkyu Ryokou is a popular steeplechase board game where your goal is to move around to different locales in Japan in as short a time as possible while visiting all of the required points of interest. During your travels, you will collect travel points by visiting tourist spots that are usually places that showcase the natural beauty of Japan. There are many choices of travel plans such as those for enjoying on-train meals, visiting mountain ranges and enjoying local village festivals. The Japan Travel Bureau has contributed to the game with photo stills of famous locations and local specialties such as foods and products.
