A shipment that was held for roughly two weeks by U.S. Customs was cleared this morning. If you are waiting for Langrisser IV Limited Edition, Gunbuster XTO or restock on Evangelion 2nd Impression and the new white Saturn consoles, feel free to let us know. A picture of the Gunbuster XTO box is posted below. The reason for the large size is that each box includes a real Fulcowl Mini 4WD racing chassis. Those unfamiliar with Tamiya's line up Mini 4WD models should know that this is a fairly popular hobby in Japan where fans build their own model cars and adorn it with decals, accessories and other assorted items. Note that the Gunbuster XTO package only includes the Fulcowl car chassis, some fenders and a sheet of decals. If you want it to run, you'll have to invest in some wheels and other parts that we are looking into providing for our customers. Gameboy fans of the game should already have one of the Fulcowl vehicles that was included with the GB package.

Each Gunbuster box is roughly 3 lbs so please take this into account when ordering. The game itself is a very cool "build your own little vehicle and race it against a gaggle of opponents in different towns and localities" sim while you strive to hone and improve it's performance. The Gameboy version is a huge hit in Japan and the Saturn version has enjoyed brisk sales thus far in the two weeks that it has been available.

You got the game, now get the mook. Thanks to last week's release of the Saturn version of Marvel Super Heroes, we have the Gamest mook from last year in stock again. The price is currently US$18 and available for shipping today. A few shots of the Saturn version of MSH are posted below for your perusal.

Today marks the 12th day of the UPS walkout. The company may have to effect a rate hike when all this is over to account for all of the lost revenue which is already in the hundreds of millions of dollars. When UPS raises it's rates, people may flinch but the company has shown that they provide an integral service to the U.S. economy and there are few alternatives available that can handle the volume that they push through their system on a daily basis. A couple of our business partners have reported deliveries from UPS but we haven't seen those brown trucks ever since the strike took place. It's almost eerie to walk down Manhattan, block after block, and not see a single big, brown, boxy UPS truck parked on the side with an orange parking ticket sticking out from the front window. There's a ton of Fedex trucks though.
