Another gun game makes it to the Saturn. I suppose the last game that utilized a gun (Death Crimson) wasn't that good so we are quickly treated to another one, this time from Altron. Mighty Hits features a large number of odd and attractive game screens where you shoot objects that are in some way connected to the screen. For example, there is a screen which places you in the water and an island with the traditional palm tree sits in the background. In this situation, you are appointed the task of shooting the colorful marine fish that swim about. In another screen (this one was clever) a character with a load of balloons floats down towards a raft that is awaiting below on the water. You have to shoot the balloons that cary him aloft in such a way so that his descent is both accurate and slow enough so that he hits the raft instead of the water. In yet another screen, a couple of flowers serve as the main objects and little bees attempting to pollinate the flowers are inexplicably the target of your bullets. How politically incorrect. As mentioned before, the variety of game screens makes this game very enjoyable and addictive to play. Mighty Hits is playable with either a joypad (with an on screen cursor as your target) or with the Saturn Stunner. It is also compatible with the Saturn third party gun known as the Enforcer from Blaze.
