International Moto-X

This is a dirt bike racing game where you motor down tracks with a bunch of other guys, all trying to win the race. This is straight motorbike racing, with no kicking or punching of your rivals like you can do in Road Rash. The graphics are impressive, with large characters and good animation. I am not too familiar with motorcycle racing games but this one looks like it is based on amateur racing competitions that are held in Japan and the USA. Motorcycle racing games are not as common as car racing games but when they do come out, it seems that many of them are of good quality and are fun to play. Look at what has come out: Super Hang-On which was a classic, Riding Hero on the Neo-Geo which was a rip-off of SHO but was good nonetheless, Road Rash which added a new element of fighting to the racing game and now International Moto-X which is good fun. I'm sure I missed some other motorbike racing games, such as the ones in the arcades but we'll try to recap those later. Coconuts continues their excellent track record with another fine Sony Playstation release.
