NCS will offer Capcom's recent D-Direct exclusive Street
Fighter IIX for Matching Service to our own customers starting
next week. Pricing is set at US$68 for this
early allocation. Shipments that are expected in late February will be
priced at US$53. Similar to Vampire Chronicle,
SSF2X offers internet dueling to determine the true world champions
across Japan. Pre-orders
are welcome starting today for shipping next week, possibly by
Wednesday along with Fighting Vipers 2 and Giga WIngs 2.

When hurtling towards the earth at
terminal velocity, the human body reaches a point where it can freely
move from left to right. A surfer cutting through the waves controls
his direction by weaving in water. A sky diver does the same, only the
medium of transmission is the atmosphere. Upon reaching aerial
stability, divers may motion themselves towards fellows in the sky in
order to link hands and create magnificent chains and formations above
our heads. This is what Aero Dive recreates and allows virtual surfers
the chance to plummet from about 2500 meters, coalesce with a group of
people, and dally down like daisies. That is, until the parachutes are
deployed in full bloom. |

In Japanese society, emphasis is placed on
the group rather than the individual. A rugged cowboy, alone, smoking
a Marlboro while riding off into the sunset is unknown in Japanese
advertising.
The para-para nightclub phenomenon takes the idea of the
group to the hilt. Here, a couple of dancers lead entire clubs in
"dances" which emphasize hand movement while the feet are
relatively becalmed. The popularity of Bemani pretty much assured that
any fad or phase related to rhythm would be converted for home use.
Using the buttons on your joypad, pose your dancer by pressing in time
with the cues onscreen. Watch in fascination as fellow virtual dancers
mimic moves, salute, point, and reach for the stars... |

deliveries and pickups. Postal shipments are suspended however as the

King delivered a mighty speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on
August 28, 1963. Titled "I Have a Dream", it roused strong
emotions (both polarities) across the nation. MLK was Time's Man of the Year in 1964.
