DC Fighting Vipers 2

Scans

Two years after the original Fighting Vipers tournament, the cast and crew return for another armor bustin' battle royale. Honey, Sanman, the indomitable Picky and the other bruisers bristle with new looks, new armor, and updated fighting technique. Each battle begins with your warrior wearing a suit of protective body armor. This affords shielding from blows but then there's the Super K.O. System in play which breaks armor. All it takes is the right punch or kick to dislocate this protective suit. Once broken, flesh is exposed to the flurry of punches, kicks, and general abuse. New fighters to the ruckus include Emi, who may have been modeled after the girl in Umihara Kawase and Charlie, a BMX bike riding maniac who pops wheelies upon foes. In stock today US$53.

Import Update

Wonderswan

DC Giga Wing 2 and Super Street Fighter IIX are slated for Thursday. PS Derby Jockey 2001 and Fuulaiki are also expected tomorrow morning. Restock shipments scheduled for Thursday include Napple Tale, Moero! Justice Schools, Dead or Alive Hardcore, et al but due to changes in year 2001 FCC regulations and classifications for import shipments, we are experiencing a bit of a delay on many inbound shipments due to these revisions. Under new FCC frequency emissions rules, software is now lumped with hardware and must be classified under the same code for some reason.     Shipments of Wonderswan Color handhelds are due to resume next week and pricing for the handheld is set at US$85. A variety of released software titles will also populate the website when the stock happens next week. NCS will contact customers as soon as the items arrive.

@ NCS

NCS is maintaining a contact list for Gameboy Advance pre-orders. This means a customer may contact NCS with the message header "GBA Preorder" and we will add you to our mailing list and keep you abreast of news on the handheld as well as possible reservations. Due to the unknown initial allocation of the GBA at this time, NCS is unable to guarantee pre-orders for the launch  week but the contact list that we are maintaining will keep everyone updated on availability of the unit as well as software titles. If you have inquired about the GBA already, you are automatically added to this list.
As mentioned earlier this week, GBA supplies during the week of March 21 will be scarce but units inevitably show up during the weeks that follow. It's a tried and true routine witnessed during the launch of the Pocket Gameboy, the Gameboy Color, and on major first party Gameboy products. Even the Gameboy Pocket Camera and Printer enjoyed a period of rarity and exclusivity. Now they sit in Japanese sales bins at fractions of their original value. So, the lesson for today is, if the sales tactic works, don't fix it.
