Yakyuken History
10:56AM
A former store owner who we used to supply in Cali sent us a small package
containing some old games for old time's sake. Notable in the package were Yakyuken
Special and the original Suchie Pai Mahjong for the Sega Saturn. Here's our original view of Yakyuken
when it first hit the scene many years ago. If you are a customer who has ever stripped a
girl completely in this game, we would like to know how you did it as we are convinced
that it is impossible to "win" this game. |

Snowstorm 12:15PM
New York City has been buffeted and blanketed by nearly a foot of snow. If
it's not one thing, it's another and we're impatiently waiting for product to be delivered
today which includes restock and other items due for delivery. If our couriers are unable
to deliver our cargo, all shipments for relevant product affected by the storm will shift
over to dispatch tomorrow. Should NCS be forced to close for business prematurely today
because of adverse weather conditions, we will post an update to inform our customers.
Winter has hit with a vengeance after a relatively balmy December in New England. |

DC Modification Installation
NCS have many customers who wish to send their Dreamcast consoles in for the
mod installation. We would like to work it out in an orderly manner with the procedure
outlined below. Please follow our instructions so that we can process and prepare for our
customers to ship in their units for the installation. Thanks for your cooperation. |
| 1 |
Send an e-mail
request with the heading
"NCS Mod Install" to ncsx@email.msn.com
and the following information in the body of the e-mail:
a) Your full name, address, and a phone number
b) The type of DC you own (ASN, USA, JPN)
c) Submit the serial number of your machine. This number is located on the bottom
of the DC and is on a white sticker with UPC coding. |
| 2 |
NCS in turn will
respond within 24 hours of receiving your modification request and give you the necessary
arrangements and address to ship the DC to. We are currently in the middle of an office
move but we'll be settled within the next couple of days. |
| 3 |
Once you receive
our reply, pack your DC in it's original box and take care to pad the unit well so that it
does not bounce around if you shake the container. Use newspaper or packaging peanuts as
filler material. Once packed, put the DC box in a larger box to protect it from the
elements and the ravages of transit. We prefer that you ship the parcel with UPS but if it
is not possible for you to reach a UPS service station, e-mail us and we will arrange for
a package pick-up with UPS so that they will send a courier to pick up your package and
deliver it to us. Please include this request in your e-mail (Step 1) but
note that there will be a service fee of US$12 for the pickup and shipping to NCS. Fedex
is also good if you can reach a Fedex station. We do not recommend using the Postal
Service to ship packages due to possibility of loss and poor follow-up from their customer
service when problems occur. |
| 4 |
NCS will require
1 day to perform the mod and turn it around for you. This means that if we receive your
Dreamcast on a Monday, it will be modded, tested, and packed up - ready to go back to you
on Tuesday. |
