Boku Doraemon ~
Nobita's Help Diary |
Scans |
| The young Nobita Nobi is always in
trouble. Either by his own bumbling self or through the
machinations of his archenemies Gian and Suneo, he never fails
to undermine his situation. Two centuries from the present
time lock, Nobita's lineage is unremarkable and his future
children are impoverished due to Nobita's failures. To rectify
this state of affairs, Nobita's great grandson sends a robotic
cat back in time to save grandpappy and thus the Nobi progeny
from indigence. Doraemon hurtles back through the centuries to
help his new master with the rigors of the youthful life and
change the course of the future. Clever devices from the 22nd
century help the cause and allow Doraemon to save Nobita in
times of need. Doramiyan,
Doraemon's younger sister and Shizuka, Nobita's future bride,
provide friendly foil in the game. Gian, Suneo, and
situational hazards supply the fire. |

Magazine GD-Rom Vol. 10 |
Scans |
The
latest DC Magazine includes a bonus GD-Rom which grants DC
gamers playable demos of Aero Dancing I, Battle Beaster,
Hundred Swords, and Ultimate Fighting Championship. Cinema
previews include Shenmue II, Eldorado Gate Vol. 3 and Sega
Gaga. The four minute + Shenmue II movie introduces the women
in SM2 and regales viewers with scores of locations ranging
from beautifully modeled city scenes to elaborate interiors.
Hundred Swords looks like an involving tactical sim with great
graphic detail.
On paper, the magazine checks out X-Box with some
screenshots of the upcoming Microsoft machine. Game coverage
includes the uniquely styled Wild Riders from Sega/Wow
which looks like a comic book come to life. Cutting
edge, as usual, from Sega. Hundred Swords, Canvas,
Macross M3 and Pia Welcome to Carrot 2.5 also grab a few pages
of the magazine. Eldorado Gate Vol. 3 is ranked with a 7-8-7
in the Review Section and is the only new Dreamcast game this
week. Air Trix, a new Sega/Hitmaker coin-op is featured
and looks to challenge Tony Hawk. |

Love Hina ~ Smile Again Pre-order |
Amor |
| One
addition was made overnight to the Dreamcast schedule for
March 2001. A new Love Hina game is slated for March 15
and offered only in a deluxe edition box set. The contents of
the package include a necklace with turtle pendant, a lunch
placemat, a pair of chopsticks, a chopstick rest, and a bath
towel. Surprisingly, no food bowl is included to complete the
lunch theme. Pricing is set at Y8800 or roughly US$95. If the
package size is very large, similar to the first Love Hina LE
box, NCS may have to adjust pricing upwards to account for
higher shipping costs from overseas. Pre-orders may be
submitted by e-mail
request or online. |
