Starting with Poporogue late in 1998, Sony introduced a new protection scheme in their own games which detected the presence of a mod chip and disabled a game from working on modified consoles. Since the release of Poporogue, three other imports have followed suit for a total of four games that utilize the new routine. The codes that are posted below will disable the effect of the protection scheme so that the games may be booted and played.
