Restock arrives, Game Shark clarification
   Imports
Power Stone
There are no official delays with Power Stone, despite some reports to the contrary floating around out there. The game will ship tonight and distribution will take delivery on Monday. NCS expects the game's arrival in the USA on Wednesday, February 24. Additional pre-orders are welcome.
DC Magazine March 19
Everyone who submitted a pre-order on February 12 (last Friday) will be guaranteed a copy of DC Magazine with the preview GD. NCS received additional requests this week but we cannot guarantee these new orders due to our likely inability to source additional quantities at this point. If we have surplus copies, we'll gladly fill magazine requests in the order that they were received.
DC Asian Consoles
This stock is now expected on Monday. A complete range of accessories and software will accompany the consoles. NCS apologizes for the delay.
Wonder Swan
Bandai's upcoming handheld is expected to ship next month, possibly by the beginning of March. NCS will post full details on our update next Wednesday including the full roster of games that will ship at debut. The Wonder Swan is a black & white portable that will do FMV which makes it TV tuner capable. A strong roster of publishers including Capcom and Konami have announced their commitment to producing software for the WS.

   Everything Else
Yen Equilibrium
The dollar broke through Y120 and now sits comfortably at Y119.9. Momentum is still in favor of the dollar going higher and we'll look for Y122 over the next two forex sessions.
Game Shark vs Pro Action Replay
Quite simply, there is no versus. The code format in the Game Shark, Pro Action Replay and the countless variants and builds are the same. The Game Shark that is distributed in North America by Interact is essentially a licensed, renamed Pro Action Replay from Datel. Old school Playstation owners may remember that Datel originally sold a special memory card for the Playstation that contained various save files such as Tekken with all the characters and Ridge Racer with the black Diablo. This was before they adapted their PAR for use on the Playstation. Through the years, companies in Asia have pirated Datel's design and manufactured their own versions for global distribution. In many cases, Asian versions of the PAR are more versatile and "user friendly" when it comes to certain capabilities and upgradeability through a communication card. All of these devices use the same code format that originated with the PAR. The recent Final Fantasy VIII codes were produced in Asia on bootleg PARs and are thus compatible with recent Game Shark, original PAR and third party bootleg revisions. Please refer to our mini page for the codes that have been verified to work with the new protected games, including FFVIII.
Capital Markets
The rally came sooner than we expected in the last session but we kept all of our short positions. It had nothing to do with sentiment or perception but rather we were caught off guard with the buying after the dip that came at about 10AM. The only trade that we initiated on Thursday was the addition of 2 long SPH at 1228 when the market took a breather and the buying came back in a little after noontime. As usual, we consider 1228 to be support and a base for which we will sell positions when it is broken. The market is difficult to read because there is no logic to the money flows and correlating it with FED liquidity would be too easy. Options expiry usually favors a sort of equilibrium after all the selling on Tuesday and Wednesday so there should be buying today. Our BKX short is a thorn poking at all of our other positions but we haven't sold it off yet. We look for a break in the banks when long bonds make a move.
