Final Fantasy Collection Reminder
   Imports
Final Fantasy Collection
With the effects of Final Fantasy VIII still fresh in the marketplace, NCS would like to remind customers that Final Fantasy Collection is expected soon on March 11. The collection includes Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI on three CDs. Each CD features color artwork from the original SFC box cover. A special edition of the collection includes a Citizen Clock that tells time with hands and not an LCD screen. The regular edition of FF Collection is expected to price at US$65 while the limited edition is tentatively priced at US$90. Final prices will be posted during the first week of March. Pre-orders are welcome and will remain open until the stock arrives.
N64 Smash Bros
Late but expected to be in stock today at US$60. One of the weirder looking battles has to be the match-up between Pikachu and Kirby. The other characters that may be fought or controlled are: Starfox, Yoshi, Link, Samus, Mario, and Donkey Kong.
DC Keychains
Dreamcast keychains have been restocked today at US$3. Reservations will ship this afternoon. An assortment of other keychains such as Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Street Fighter were offered to NCS a couple of days ago. We have some samples on the way and we'll offer them for sale if the quality is okay.
Restock on the way
A good amount of restock has been ordered and is on the way. The first batch should arrive tomorrow with such titles as SATURN Suchie Pai 5th Anniversary, Elan Doree, Grandia, DBZ Legends and SONYPS Ehrgeiz, Ridge Racer Type 4, Gundam Char's Counterattack. Next week, we are expecting general restock on various titles but we'll update once we receive the packing list tonight.
   Everything Else
Yen Equilibrium
The descent of the yen continues. It settled at Y119.62 per US$1 but the momentum looks to break the 120 level and perhaps roam in the Y125 range. Watching and waiting for new equilibrium.
Baseball
Roger Clemens was traded to the New York Yankees this morning for David Wells, Graham Lloyd and Homer Bush. Bad trade...
Capital Markets
Very profitable session on Wednesday for NCS thanks to a 137 point profit increase in the RUT puts. Our short net positions are showing surprising weakness with AMZN and YHOO selling off. Our YHOO puts are deep in the money now while AMZN just turned a profit in the last session. The NDX put continues to mine capital as our position grows more valuable. We were tempted to exit the BKX short position when the index racheted up 22 points but watched it sell off at the end of the day. We'll keep it for now. SPH long futures are in the red after yeasterday's sell-off but we will tolerate the losses which are our hedge now for our strong short positions. NCS will look to exit some positions today when our downside targets are hit. We want to go long later this afternoon for what we see as a Friday rally to cap a bad week. We may keep the RUT short until March because this thing can plummet to 350 if the sell-off continues. DELL may be a buy here but NCS usually never holds actual stock unless we want to have positions to write calls against and use the proceeds to open a bull spead. If DELL dumps down to 75, we'd buy it only as a speculative play but we'll hedge it with writes and buy puts on it. Even so, we'd only hold it for a month or two.
Edit 9:43AM: NCS is not selling our short positions or buying this early strength in the market. We want to wait and watch since things reverse quickly if money flows are not positive.
