SATURN Virtua Cop
Value Set (US$58) arrived on Wednesday and all pre-orders have been dispatched. The value
set contains three CD jewels: Virtua Cop,
Virtua Cop 2, and a playable level of House of the Dead. VC and VC2 are the
original Japanese CD releases and are individually wrapped. House of the Dead is also
individually wrapped but is labeled "Not for Sale". Sega includes the black
Japanese Stunner gun for added value. We were expecting 3 Wonders from EAV this week but
it has been delayed until March. In it's stead, we received a new Playstation game
entitled Aishiaukotoshika Dekinai. Note
that 3 Wonders has been delayed 3 times already and
we're beginning to wonder if we should simply file it under our vapor-ware folder. In any
case, we'll have more information and updates in March. |

A total of six magazines arrived last Friday and this past Monday. Some
pre-orders for Neo-Geo Freak and Sega Saturn Magazine were dispatched last Friday. As we
mentioned last week, we will now receive two shipments of magazines every week, with
cartons coming in every Friday and Monday. The new Playstation Magazine and Saturn Fan
came in on Monday and has shipped to all subscriptions. One-time issue orders for any of
our magazines are welcome. |
| An interesting assortment of mook and book restock has arrived. We
have a couple of Gamest Art Books that are always nice to flip through and peruse. Another
shipment of the Gamest "Best Game" Volume 2 mook also came in. Since many of our
customers have inquired about the book, we've posted up a detailed analysis of the book's
contents. Pictures and more information on all of the mooks that arrived are now up for
your browsing. |

A good amount of restock arrived this week. Some of the
games have been stocked by our company before while others are new to NCS. Option Tuning
Car Battle was released a couple of weeks ago and features car building, refining and
racing. The Dual Shock compatibility helps to relay road effects to the video driver.
Another interesting game is Ganbare Goemon which is now available in Sony's Best series.
Goemon features the punk-haired ninja in a platform action game with scads of side puzzle
and action diversions. Over on the Saturn side, the very odd and somewhat funny Funky Head
Boxers shows off the quirky and weird sense of humor from Yoshimoto. |

In today's journal, we note some changes to the Playstation
releases that we're expecting next Monday. Namco Anthology has been delayed until a later
date in March but we have some new additions in our incoming stock list to make up for the
loss. We also confirm a deluxe Tekken 3 package that will arrive with the regular Tekken 3
CD on March 24. We ask that our customers who have pre-ordered Tekken 3 to update us if
you wish to order a deluxe Tekken 3 package instead of the regular edition. It's a Friday
so we bid everyone a good weekend and we'll meet back here next Monday. |
