was hoping that House of the Dead 2 would really ship on March 18 instead of the 25th but
we won't get that wish. House 2 has been confirmed for March 25, a day that will easily be
the busiest day of the quarter at NCS. We are expecting Blue Stinger, HotD2 with extra
guns, Marvel vs Capcom and Super Speed Racing. All on one day. We'll begin processing
pre-orders next week to prepare shipping schedules so that all orders are dispatched
efficiently and everyone gets their games quickly. If you wish to make any changes to your
pre-orders, please let us know by the end of next week. |

Sound Update |

NCS' pre-order of Real Sound was cancelled by our vendors because we did not order the
minimum required quantity on each DC title of 100 pieces. Our order for Real Sound was
closer to 50 pieces ;( Due to this contingency, NCS will stock this item when restock is
available late next week. Real Sound is one of those niche titles that won't appeal to the
masses, especially in the USA market but we like to give our customers a good variety of
choices. If you have pre-ordered Real Sound, please allow us another week to bring this
title in for you. |

Pikachu Products |
| Two
more samples of Pikachu items arrived this morning from our Japanese suppliers. We are
unsure if we'll stock these but the first sample is a Pikachu watch that includes a
wristband. The face of the watch is a silver colored metal Pikachu that is in a running
pose. This faceplate flips up to reveal an LCD watch with date function. The quality is
very good and the metallic timepiece is hefty. This is an original product from Nintendo
and the suggested retail in Japan is US$25. The other sample that arrived
is a Pokemon System Note that is a mini binder with a transparent cover. Inside, you'll
find a calendar, memo pages, address logs, etc. The front of the binder features a foam
Pikachu with an LCD watch and a foam pen is included to the side of the package. If we had
one of those little gift shops that sell Hello Kitty pens and stationery, we'd probably
sell thousands of these to school children. The Pokemon System Note is an original product
from Shogakukan under license from Nintendo and suggested retail is US$10.

We have Y119.6 and ideally, we want the market to nudge the level to Y118.4. However, we
will not hesitate to initiate long dollar contracts once Y119 is broken and short yen
contracts to start our position and build a nucleus on which we'll add on strength. NCS'
trading philosophy is always to take partial positions when opening a new trade. Once we
have a core, we will watch our target levels closely and prepare to add or flip 360 based
on these levels. Downside target is at Y118.4 while upside target is 124~125. |

NCS' e-mail server at escape.com went down yesterday at about 3:00PM and stayed down for
the remainder of the day. Roman says that there was maintenance that required attention
which knocked us out. Escape is operational this morning and NCS will try to respond to
all e-mails today. If you don't receive a reply by today, you should receive one by the
weekend. NCS receives hundreds of messages each day and when our server goes down, we have
to play some major catch up. |

Thanks for all of the interest in the DC posters. Due to the large number of requests,
please allow NCS until Monday to begin dispatching orders since we ran out of shipping
tubes and we refuse to use the ones that the Post Office sells because they're square
shaped and are easily crushed when they move through the mail sorting facility. We've had
some bad experiences when using those boxy tubes. NCS should be able to fulfill all
requests for the Sonic Adventure and Blue Stinger posters but Sega Rally 2 is limited in
number. We'll ask our vendors in Japan if they can supply some more for delivery this
coming Monday. |

Globes is showing some weakness in the premarket. It is nothing to fret about but we don't
think we'll get Dow 10,000 today. We may get it by Monday or Tuesday of next week. Our
reasons are as follows: Monday is the start of a new week and when we hit 10,000, the
momentum will be very strong and we'll push to 10,200 easily over the next couple of days.
A record that is set on Friday will not have momentum in tow when the weekend dissipates
the euphoria. Of course, if we do surpass 10,000 today, NCS will not mind. We will look to
flip short next week or the following week if we can get ~10,400 to 10,500 with a sell-off
target at ~9700.. |
