PS Final Fantasy Collection in stock

Final Fantasy Collection
Square's regular edition compilation of Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI is in stock today at US$60. Please take note that Square cut everyone's pre-order for the Anniversary Edition of this release and we are unsure of how many we will receive when the stock arrives over the next couple of days. Due to this problem and the trouble that it has caused us, NCS will no longer accept any pre-orders for special edition games from Squaresoft. We love Square and all of their work but the hassle involved with sourcing limited edition stock is ridiculous.
D&D Collection
NCS will restock large quantities of D&D Collection on Monday, March 15 to fulfill all remaining pre-orders and new orders for this game.
Wonder Swan
NCS received a single silver colored Wonder Swan sample this morning. The unit is small, and is roughly the same size as the Neo Geo Pocket. The design is very nice with rounded corners and smooth detailing. A single AA battery is included inside the packaging . Unfortunately, no game cartridge was included with the sample so we'll have to wait until next week to give it a try. NCS will begin carrying Wonder Swan stock in roughly two weeks but we note that interest in this new black & white handheld has been mild when compared to the great demand for the Neo Geo Pocket Color. Further details will be posted when we have delivery confirmation and prices. If you are interested in the Wonder Swan, please drop us a line since we wish to gauge domestic demand for this item.
Action Replay Repricing
NCS posted an error in Action Replay pricing yesterday. The original price that we had posted was US$18, but the correct price should be US$23. NCS will honor all orders that shipped yesterday at the US$18 price level but current orders will be shipped at US$23. This information has also been updated in our on-line store.
Dreamcast Magazine Vol. 10
Kita He takes the cover of the latest issue of DC Magazine. Inside, we get ratings on this week's two DC releases: Monaco GP 2 grabs 7, 7, 5 and Real Sound bags a respectable 9, 7, 8. A neat feature on the DC VMS card shows the different variants that are available through special offers within the Japanese marketplace. The carbon black VMS is cool. Cover scans of this issue will be posted tomorrow. Subscriptions and single issue orders will ship today.
   Everything Else
Yen Equilibrium 11:23AM
No deterioration in the dollar overnight and a little bit of strength as it stands at Y120. NCS doubts that this is the pivot upwards so we'll stay short and wait for the break at Y119.
DC Supplies
NCS expects restock of the original Sega Dreamcast S-Video cable on Monday. The DC VGA Box has sold out and restock is slated for ~03/21. We would like to bring in large quantities of both items to hold in our inventory but supplies are tiny in Japan. Perhaps Sega did not expect large demand for these accessories. Puru Puru packs are up in the air but we hope to receive a confirmed date for the next batch tomorrow.
Dreamcast Posters
We have a few surplus DC posters available for interested parties. Puyo Puyo 4, Blue Stinger, Super Speed Racing, Sonic Adventure and Sega Rally 2 are available. Each poster measures ~28" x 20" and we usually give them to local retailers and shops. As usual, all we ask is that you pay for the tube and postal shipping charges, which is $6 total. NCS won't be able to satisfy all requests but we'll process them as we receive them until supplies run out. One poster per request please.
Power Stone rules
Capcom's 3-D fighting game remains our top selling DC game for two weeks in a row. Sonic Adventure is a consistent seller with heavy demand even months after it's release. Sega Rally 2 slowed down a couple of weeks ago but new Dreamcast owners have begun to purchase the game again along with their new console orders. All of the other titles sell okay - Godzilla is still one of the most requested titles for restock. The game is pretty bad and moves horribly slow but we think the Godzilla name is too tempting to resist, even if G moves like a snail. Pop 'n Music was the biggest surprise, even though it was reviewed very well, DC fans have been reluctant to pick this one up even though it's a great musical rhythm game.
Capital Markets 12:11AM
No changes to our long SPH, just enjoying the ride as the market ramps higher. It is doubtful that any sellers will ruin the euphoria, especially when we're a mere ~150 points away from a milestone. The Dow may run all the way up to 10,500 before it takes a breather and sells off a bit. Once 10,500 is hit, we think it could retrace back down to 9,700 before the buyers take it for another bull run. One observation is the poor performance of the Russell even as it's brethren hit record levels.
