G-Front

NCS will process and ship some pre-orders for the GBA today but the bulk of pre-orders will ship on Wednesday. We have not received all of our shipments this morning but rather than take on the entire dispatch of units tomorrow, we'll whittle down some of the load today. Orders will be processed in the order they have been received but there are two issues this week to be addressed: One - Dracula ~ Circle of the Moon and Dodgeball Fighters were short shipped this week drastically and most pre-orders for these games will ship next week. However, rather than hold back pre-orders, we will ship GBA orders with the games that are available. NCS will ship Dracula and Dodgeball to you, separately, when the cartridges arrive. Two - Nintendo never allows color choices to distributors and vendors during a launch in Japan but we try to request certain colors when pre-ordering. If we do not have your first color choice, we will fill your order with the available color that we have in stock. All invoices have been completed and no changes are allowed at this point.
All pre-orders should be shipped by Wednesday afternoon at the latest, which is our original target date. Since we have hundreds upon hundreds of orders to process, in the order they were received, please refrain from asking NCS the following questions today:

"Will my order be shipping?"
"Are you getting the Gameboy Advance today?"
"When will my Gameboy Advance arrive?"

All customers who have GBA orders shipped today will be contacted by e-mail, later this afternoon, with a message containing your order details and your UPS tracking number. If you do not receive an e-mail today, then your order will ship on Wednesday. Thanks.

NCS pricing for a GBA package, which includes three GBA cartridges, is currently US$275 + shipping.
 PS2 Me and Satan King

Scans

When evil spirits decide to kidnap your sister, it can only help when you team up with a ghost to save your sibling. Maybe...
The apparition in question calls himself Stanley High Hat Trinidad, the 14th. He's not putting on airs either, that's his real name. Stan's assertion of his lineage to become the next Satan King helps to bolster your conviction that the kidnappers will soon taste comeuppance with the future Satan on your side. Stanley agrees to help you but in order to do so, he must become your shadow and you consent to help him take over the world. With this dubious partnership, the two of you strike out into a beautifully drawn world and tend to the matters at hand.
Stan's rivals are made up of seven wannabe Satan Kings and these devils lie in wait for your duo in this adventure game. Before encounters with adversaries, Stan occasionally appears in a window and asks a couple of questions. Answer wisely and Stan plays along and attacks well, but act the fool and give him something he doesn't want to hear and he'll withhold his fury and only dally during a critical battle. Aggravation and frustration are two emotions that may course through your being when Stan does his diva routine. The game features a highly stylized look and the characters in the game all appear to be freaks of the lovable kind. They're all flawed in some way but as a whole, they complement each other to build an effective team.

 DC Magazine GD-Rom Vol. 11

Scan

The latest issue of Dreamcast Magazine reviews this week's barrage of Dreamcast imports and salutes Bio-Hazard Code Veronica Perfect Edition with perfect 9's across the board and Sakura Taisen 3 bags 10, 9, 9, easily continuing the tradition of excellence of the Sakura franchise. The Special Report section of the magazine updates readers on Phantasy Star Online ver.2 which updates the PSO game with new enemies, new levels, new mini-games, and throws out the cheaters who would ruin the fun with Gameshark enhanced attributes or take advantage of software glitches...
Game coverage in the magazine checks out Sakura 3, Eve Zero ~ Ark of the Matter, Bio-Hazard Code Veronica, and Culdcept II. A section on the Gameboy Advance recaps Sega's plans on the new world beater and wonders aloud if the original Phantasy Star game from the SMS will make it to the GBA. A photo comparison pits the sizes of the petite GBA to a beastly Game Gear and a rotund Dreamcast joypad.
The special GD-Rom included in this issue previews playable World Series Baseball 2K1 and Power Jet Racing. Cinematic interludes include Sakura 3, Eldorado Gate 4, NFL 2K1, NBA 2K1, and the Naomi 2 version of Wild Riders.

 Onimusha Wallscrolls

Sample

Attractive and decorative, with a sense of foreboding about them, three vibrant Onimusha wall scrolls are on offer from toy and print suppliers in Japan. A sample of one of the scrolls is shown to the right. The other Japanese wall scroll depicts the game's hero against a large moon backdrop and the third appears to be taken from the USA version of Onimusha Warlords with cartoon style artwork and brighter colors.
NCS is unsure if we will start stocking these but indications of interest are welcome by e-mail. Our prior experience with the world of scrolls included puffy Pokemon works, Dragonball Z, and a bevy of Final Fantasy VIII scrolls when that game ruled the roost. Many video games apparently receive the wall scroll treatment under official sanction from the software publishers and if the Onimusha offerings do well, we'll bring in all of the other scrolls for other games that find their way into the Japanese marketplace. Pricing should sit at roughly US$25 per wall scroll and we'll throw up the other two scrolls for perusal on Wednesday's website update.
