Dreamcast 2Q Schedule
Sega's schedule for the second quarter of 1999 appears spotty with only three games expected next month. Get Bass ships next week, Web Mystery ships on April 6 and Red Line Racer ships on April 27. The next scheduled games in May come late in the month on 05/25 with Shutoko Battle and Elemental Gimmick Gear. On 05/27, Dynamite Deka 2 is expected to ship. Buggy Heat is now expected sometime in June and Shenmu, King of Fighters 98 DM, Space Griffon are all listed as 2Q TBA. NCS will post the complete, updated 2Q schedule next Monday and scrap the current Dreamcast schedule that we have on-line since almost everything on that listing has shipped.
Get Bass
Players will be able to reel in Sega's arcade fishing game next week. Please note that the special package with the motion sensitive fishing controller is a Y9800 box set and retail may very well end up in the US$98 range. Carriage charges for each fishing rod + game is easily 10% of the trade cost due to the oversize packaging. Please re-confirm pre-orders based on this new information.
Next Week, Monday
NGP Color Puzzle Bobble Mini (US$35) is slated for delivery along with the new blue Skeleton Saturn. It appears that Sega manufactured fewer Skeletons than originally planned and our pre-order will be cut but we should have no problems fulfilling pre-orders that we have accepted thus far. The Skeleton will price to retail at US$205.
Music CDs and Miscellany
Apologies for not posting our music CD collection up yet. This week has been a weird one that stole precious time away from our company. We will post everything on Monday's update.

We're up to Y119.20 but have upped our sell stop to Y119. It may run further but a profit is a profit and we can always open new positions if our stops are triggered. We have an automatic sell trigger at Y121 at which point we'll stand aside and evaluate the degree of market waffling. Flipping short would not be anathema since this forex thing oscillates somewhat predictably.
Playstation Transparent Casing
There is no honor in Asia. Sigh. NCS will speed things up and bring in our transparent Playstation casings next week. We had hoped that our manufacturer would not start selling them to other vendors or share the mold in Asia but they have not kept their promise. Business is business but this was not cool to do. National Console will have the following Playstation casing colors next week:
Crystal clear
Smoky grey
Transparent blue
Transparent purple
Transparent green
Due to the speed-up of bringing these to market, we will only have the casing for the SCPH-5001 to SCPH-7501 models available. Casings for the SCPH-1000 through SCPH-3000 will be available later. NCS' charge for the casing by itself is $29 which includes the complete shell. If you want us to swap the Playstation from your old casing to the new casing, we charge $39 which includes return shipping with UPS Ground.

We're on the sidelines. No plans to buy in either long or short at this point but we look for resolution to the volatility.
