| NCS
will take delivery of the game + fishing controller on Thursday. Confirmed. Apologies for
the delay. We really didn't need another problem this week after the DHL debacle but it
appears to be a normal flight delay with no exigent circumstances. |

| Easter |
|
Many countries will observe the Easter holiday this week and next. A number of import
shipments from Asia and Japan will ship out tonight but NCS will not have any new
shipments until next Thursday because of the holiday. We don't anticipate any problems
with keeping DC items in stock for the duration of the Easter break |

| Yen
Equilibrium |
10:18AM |
|
Our position was sold out when the yen cut through Y119 overnight. It's at Y118.40 now.
The forex cycle begins anew where the dollar/yen will tread water, weaken, wane, and then
inexplicably strengthen and go higher. Some players and entire firms have made careers and
fortunes out of playing the forex but it's tedious. Boring. Predictable. Perhaps when DHL
strikes NCS again, we'll consider a business change and join the currency traders, wear
suits, and march with the crowd. |

E-Mail? |
| We
asked some of our business associates about how they handled their e-mail volume. For
example, if they received two hundred messages during the course of an afternoon. Their
solution was the use of e-mail templates that answered queries based on keywords that were
submitted in the sender's e-mail. If an e-mail contained the words "Playstation"
and "repair" within the body of text, the template solution would find a
pre-written response that would address the general topic of Playstation repairs and list
the possible problems and a generic solution. Things get tricky if the e-mail asks a
specific question. A canned response would seem cold, ambivalent, and awkward. One of our
associates said they just ignored e-mail entirely but we weren't about to follow that
business model... NCS is working to streamline our e-mail right now to work efficiently.
We want to respond in a professional and timely manner but occasionally, we receive a
large amount of messages where we may be unable to respond within a 12-24 hour period.
We're exploring different solutions at the moment and we'll update if we find a better
tool to help us with the e-mail load. |

Markets |
10:43AM |
|
It's waffle time. Conviction and doubt intermingling in the market right now. We think it
will weaken in the afternoon but we won't open positions yet. Silly money keeps coming in
and the Fed won't stop the liquidity faucet. If we see SPX break1295 then we'll head to
1288 where it will find support. This is the scenario we think will happen but sellers
just don't seem to have the dominant hand right now. |
