NCS expects large amounts of Dragon Force II and Phantasy Star Collection on Monday. Gundam Giren and Sakura 2 are both heavily stocked and available for shipping this week.
Parasite Eve    Parasite Eve (US$65) arrived on Monday. NCS now has our complete shipment of this beautifully done game and all pre-orders have been shipped. NCS' version of Parasite Eve includes a 33 page color guide book that introduces you to every character in the game, lists all of the menu options, and details the weapons and attack techniques...all in English. The book is included outside of the CD-Rom but is bundled together with a mylar sleeve. The Parasite Eve jewel contains 2 CD-Roms. Although the text in the game is in Japanese, all of the spoken word is in clear English, courtesy of Square's USA studios.

Last Blade    Neo-CD Last Blade (US$62) is now in stock. We received the second half of our shipment on Tuesday.  Due to a low production run of this CD from SNK in Japan, we are not sure if we will be able to restock this game after our initial shipment. NCS has checked with SNK of America and they have received one shipment of this game thus far and do not expect any more.

Kendo Rage    PC-FX Kendo Rage Z (US$60) and N64 Air Boarder 64 (US$60) arrived on Monday. Kendo features the blue-haired woman warrior that we first met in a number of Super Famicom action platformers (Makeruna Makendo) and one Playstation fighting game. She now gets involved in a role playing adventure filled with animated sequences, charming comrades and devious villains. Air Boarder on the N64 is similar to a number of the snow boarding games that we've seen in the past couple of months with steep slope action, half pipe events and racing challenges in a variety of interesting tracks. Check out NCS' review of this boardng game in Tuesday's Daily Journal.

Mitsumete Knight US$60    A large amount of import restock is available for shipping this week. Mitsumete Knight now includes a postcard with each order while Iwatobi Rocky Hopper X includes a neat little plastic Penguin case for holding your pens and pencils. The front and back cover of every title is now posted for your reference. A couple of weeks ago, NCS took delivery of a Super Famicom game from 1996 called Bomberman Beedaman (US$39). We now have a good sized quantity of this cartridge available for regular sales and not just pre-orders. The neat thing about this cartridge is the little Bomberman figure that is included with a jiggly stomach marble.

Real Arcade Tekken 3.0 Joystick   A number of accessories are stocked this week. The ASCII pad v2.0 (US$25), ASCII stick v3.0 (US$78) and the Real Arcade Tekken 3.0 Stick (US$60) are now available. The new ASCII stick is of superb quality (as usual) with programming options, LCD screen for joystick status and a memory card slot on the upper left side of the stick for saving your moves. Memory cards sold separately. Pocket Pikachu (US$29) also squirreled its way in and is now shipping to pre-orders.

shockfrt.jpg (23942 bytes)    In today's journal, NCS finally receives Japanese import magazines after a 2 week wait for release from Customs. No explanation was given for the delay but nothing was damaged and all of the issues are in good retail condition. We should be back to normal delivery times next Monday with a new batch of magazines. A listing of next week's new Playstation stock is posted up for review. Enigma was released overnight but it did not make our flight. So, we will have this stock available by next Wednesday. Enigma is Koei's new 3-D action-adventure. Finally, NCS takes a look at Dual Shock pads. Sony still needs to release a red and yellow one to complete the rainbow.
