Pocket Gameboy Light US$65    Limited, preliminary quantities of Nintendo's Pocket Gamboy Light (US$65) are expected this Friday. The new PGL features a back-lit screen that is similar to the blue-lighted Timex Indiglo watches that attract fireflies in the commercials. Two case colors are now available: Gold and Silver. A comment is in order regarding the limited quantities in NCS' first shipment. We originally wanted 150 pieces in our initial shipment but due to Nintendo's usual allocation tactics, we were only given 40 units or roughly a third of what we needed. Expect flood quantities to hit the market in two weeks when Nintendo ships out the rest of their supply.

The Skeleton Saturn (Cool Saturn) arrives tomorrow. The initial shipment of consoles include a Cool Pad and a preview sampler with each unit but our second shipment of the Skeleton will not include the additional items. NCS will confirm early pre-orders on Wednesday but new orders that were submitted in the past two weeks will be shipped next Monday. NCS will consider a price discount for the next shipment of consoles that do not contain any additional items but we are paying a premium for these consoles as is due to the limited edition nature (50,000 units) of this console. As usual, please re-confirm with NCS if you wish to order a Skeleton Saturn at $249.    Cool Saturn US$249

Super Robot Wars F (Conclusion) US$60    Super Robot Wars F Conclusion (US$60) is expected next Monday. Please pre-order within the next couple of days if you wish to reserve a copy. This new group of battle scenarios will close out the story that was begun in the first Saturn SRWF from last year. No limited editions are expected.
Three new Saturn games were shipped overnight and are slated for delivery tomorrow. Pre-orders are welcome.

Looks like we'll get to check out the regular edition of Sakura Taisen 2 after all. NCS is running low on Sakura 2 Limited and after checking with a number of vendors for restock, everyone is now offering the regular version only. NCS has placed the order and will post details next week when we take delivery of the game.    One of the best arcade/Saturn shooters should be restocked next week. SS Batsugun (US$39) features great power-ups, sharp levels, fast action and a nigh-perfect arcade to home conversion. Now that we've taken care of finding Batsugun in the Japanese marketplace, we hope to find Technosoft's Hyperduel next.
