The Skeleton Saturn also arrived on Wednesday and preliminary pre-orders have been dispatched. Another shipment will arrive on Monday to complete all remaining Skeleton reservations. The unit looks very high-tech and unique, with a cool air about it.. Skeleton should serve as an interesting  conversation piece in gaming rooms across America. The latest Saturn Fan magazine also arrived yesterday and has shipped to subs.
Bomberman Wars $49

Its a slow week for new imports but interest in Vampire Saviour continues to be strong. 4-in-1 owners may want to check yesterday's journal for instructions on how to modify your card so that it'll load Saviour, as well as X-Men vs Street Fighter. NCS received a small restock shipment yesterday as follows:

SS Burning Rangers US$49
SS House of the Dead (regular CD) US$49
SS Princess Crown US$50
SS X-Men vs Street Fighter w/ 4MB US$68
PS Enigma US$58
PS Tekken III US$58
Vampire Saviour

A week's worth of magazines arrived on Monday. Subscriptions have shipped and new orders for all magazines are welcome. We're not pleased with the delays we've been experiencing in receiving our magazines but we hope for a return to normalcy in the next couple of weeks. NCS currently ships magazines into the country by sea freight. This minimizes the carriage cost because air freight is roughly 4 times more expensive than shipping the magazines via ocean liners. If anything, we may have to use air for timely delivery of our periodicals. Dengeki's Playstation
A number of new books and book restock arrived this week. The Gamest Gal's Island Mook (US$20) is available again as well as the Gamest Best Game Volume #2 (US$30). The Best Game Vol. 2 looks at popular video games through the years such as Street Fighter and Vampire Hunter and also gives us a history lesson (via Atari's ads) on every Atari arcade game ever released. New to NCS, a Sentimental Grafitti fan book with a couple of CDs included (US$40) and a Psikyo art book (US$35) which looks at all of those shooter characters that we've seen in Psikyo's games over the past couple of years.

In today's journal, NCS wraps up the week with a confirmed date for Neo-Geo Real Bout 2. We have submitted our pre-order quantities to SNK (Japan and USA) but only Japan would confirm all of our numbers. We're still waiting to see how many SNK stateside can supply. As such, NCS will likely have a lot more Japanese cartridges than American cartridges for this game. Also in the journal, NCS revisits 1996 with Vampire Hunter and Sakura Taisen. Sega recently re-released the Sakura Taisen limited box and we were able to get a couple for next week. Finally, a full listing of import restock that we expect on Monday is posted for your perusal. As usual, pre-orders are welcome and any that we receive over the weekend will be processed on Monday morning. Vampire Hunter $25
