| Dreamcast
Casings |
| NCS
expects to have colored DC casings ready by early May. We have run into a sort of dilemna
because we think that many DC owners may damage their Dreamcasts if they attempt to swap
casings due to the delicate nature of the DC hardware. The Playstation is a horse and it
is simple to swap casings out and with little to no problems but the DC is a bit trickier
since there is a fan inside the console that is connected via pipette to the two main DC
cpus. This fan is mounted on top of the chips with a poor adhesive that loses it's grip if
enough force is applied. When we begin offering the DC casings for sale, we may prefer
that customers send in their DCs so that we can swap the casings, unless you are handy and
confident enough to swap yourself. We'll see what happens but we may delay the project if
logistics require that we put a hold on it. Playstation casings have been selling very
well and we are currently exploring solid color casings as well as camouflage colored
casings. We looked at some color mixes and camo-blue and camo-green look great on a PS. |

Equilibrium |
10:13AM |

The dollar dipped somewhat in the overnight session but it's right back at Y121.3, solid
as a rock. Perhaps it has found equilibrium for the short term. We'll evaluate the
overnight forex levels and see if we want to take any positions in light of the recent
stability that the dollar has found relative to the yen. Maybe it's time to trade the
Euro... |

Casing Photos |
| The
digital photos didn't come out as clear as we would have liked. We'll try again later
today in natural sunlight and see if they sparkle better. If we're successful and approve
the photo quality for public consumption, we'll post them tomorrow. Casings should be
arriving to our customers this week and we'll be glad to take testimonials if you care to
submit them. |

Here is our play for Wednesday. Yahoo reports earnings after the close today. The stock
has racheted up about 80 points in the past couple of weeks in anticipation of stellar
earnings but we'll take our cue from history and buy put positions in YHOO. We want April
220s in the afternoon and will buy up to 15 puts at ~$2,000 per. This is market money that
we've earned over the past couple of weeks so it is anathema if it is lost. This is a pure
gamble but YHOO always sells off heavily after earnings and this time should be no
different. It has run mightily and players will look to take profits until the next
quarter. Our position profit target is a double of our initial premium. We'll plow it all
back into YHOO May 200 calls if we get our target. |
| NCS
is speculative. NCS makes gambles in the equity markets and we do okay but we post these
trades publicly to fill space only. Do not follow what we do. Read this for entertainment
or to paper trade but NCS is not responsible for any losses incurred if you decide to
follow our positions. We may lose all of the profits we made over the past weeks in a
single day |
