True
Love, as opposed to Fake Love, should be pure and
for real. It's unknown how true or far along a virtual video
romance delves into the emotion of love but every beholder
takes the experience in a unique manner. The formula of True
Love Story remains the same as the tried and true that spawned
a couple of Playstation romances and a data collection disc.
It's another year in high school and another chance for your
onscreen romeo to find love amongst the crop of viable
classmates. Work your schedule around a girl's classes and
life in order to meet her in opportune occasions. Strike up a
friendly chat or read her mind by checking out her facial
expressions and replies. Reactions of the girls to your banter
may be gauged by watching the ever present heart meter which
swells if a girl becomes attracted to you or diminishes if
you're a turn off. Success depends on reinforcement. Reinforce
the notion that you're a good guy and beat the idea around
that you'd be a good match for potential victims of your love.
As always, TLS3 and it's ilk are considered niche material
stateside, but the army of romance players grows and NCS
follows the beat of the drum...

The monster madness never ends as Nintendo plows shameless
Pokemon branding onto the Gameboy Advance. Only available at
Japanese "Pokemon Center" retail outlets, NCS has
nevertheless managed to shamelessly order a couple of cartons
of this special edition Gameboy Advance. Due within 1 week,
pricing is set at US$155. The solid bluish color of the
Pokemon GBA marks it in mild contrast against the milky blue color.
Adornments: Silhouetted Pikachu sits to the left of the "Gameboy Advance"
logo located on the bottom of the handheld and Pichu hams it
up on the right. Pre-orders are welcome by e-mail
request.

Third
party Gameboy Advance link cables are now available. Official
Nintendo versions are scarce but we will also stock the
official cables as soon as supplies burst forth. The link
cable ships in a clear cellophane container and is made of
thick purple plastic. Four multi-colored plugs (lime, yellow,
purple, and red) join you and three pals together for some
multi-player shenanigans. Pricing is set at US$15.

An
assortment of AC2
action models culled from mech designs found in this week's
Playstation 2 game are slated for release in Japan over the
next couple of months. In May, manufacturer Kotobukiya kicks off the charge
with the sleek Emroad ECL-1 which measures 15cm and
hefts an imposing firearm. A back up bazooka and a pair of
shoulder cannons bolster the on-body arsenal. Pricing for this
grayish silver mech sits at Y2500. Next up, Geomatrix
ZCH-GR/1 ships in June at Y2700 and also measures up in
the 15cm area. The remainder of the brutish AC2 crew are scheduled for
release from July through the end of the year, as long as interest holds
among fandom and sales are brisk.

It's a lazy week, in general, with PS2 Armored Core 2 ~
Another Age in NCS' gunsights for Thursday and DC Sports
Jam, Eldorado Gate Vol. 4 expected on Wednesday.
NCS catches up with the GBA Lightboy from Sega and PS ASCII
Casual Collection ~ Power Dolls 2 this week along with
restock on NGP Super Real Mahjong Premium anywhere from
Wednesday through Friday. A shipment of Gameboy Advance
consoles didn't make it in today but these should arrive
tomorrow along with restock on PS2 Super Galdelic Hour,
PS Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden, and Beatmania ~
The Sound of Tokyo.

Accessory restock anticipated this week includes the DC Double
Power memory card copier, SS Action Replay 4M Plus, and PS2
Smart Media Memory Card adaptor. A collection of roughly 350
different Sega Saturn import titles is also on the way but
we'll post a complete listing once this stock arrives and NCS
is able to catalog everything.
