Pre-orders are welcome for any of the titles listed. NCS has already submitted pre-orders
and will be bringing in each and every game that is scheduled, including the six Pachinko
games that will probably only sell to hardcore Pachinko fans. |

Mook
The lastest issue of Gamest
(Volume 256) is in stock this morning. We also received a new Gamest Graphics Mook
(Vol. 170) that looks at some cool color artwork as well as pencil sketches of video game
frauleins, supermen, and other heroes from the gaming screen. Gratuitous shots of the Dead
or Alive girls are afoot in the centerfold. |

Playstation Idea
NCS is currently working on an accessory for the DC and Playstation
that we think will be popular. We haven't seen anyone else do it yet and to protect that,
we're going to remain silent on it's development until we have it molded, manufactured,
patented and trademarked under our corporate identity. This time around, we're not going
to announce it and we're going to have to find a hardware partner in Asia that won't share
the idea with everyone. This is a dicey situation since contracts are generally ignored
and seeking damages overseas won't really result in much action. It would also waste a lot
of time that could be spent productively. The accessory is something that will have a
ready audience, we think. There were many occasions in the past where we were offered our
own "brand" of memory cards, joypads, and cables from manufacturers in Asia but
so many vendors are selling low-end manufactured goods and accessories now that we wanted
to develop unique products that weren't cloned by 10,000 companies already. We have some
interesting ideas and we're in a position now to build our own products but we're going to
have to protect our intellectual and developmental property from industry theft and
cloning. We also need a partner in Asia that will help us distribute the item to resale
customers on a global scale. Tough business but potentially very profitable and rewarding. |

Cyber Org and Cotton
Original
Over the weekend, we posted that Cyber Org and Cotton Original would
be available this week. Due to a delay in shipping, the release dates have been moved to
April 26 and we expect to take delivery on April 28. NCS apologizes for the mix-up. |

Our read is that it will head back up and we'll put some money on the long contract this
morning to open a core position. |

Final Fantasy 8 Products
Okay. We finally checked out the Final Fantasy VIII necklace that we
received on Monday. The packaging consists of a thin black box measuring roughly 11 x
8" that is enclosed with a black paper band that keeps it closed. Inside, you'll find
Squall's Sleeping Lion Heart. This neat little pendant can serve as a necklace, a
keychain, or a cellular phone accessory. The Lion Heart is connected on top to a thick
nylon necklace with metal ringlets. On the bottom, it's connected to a keychain, which in
turn is connected to a cellular phone ribbon assembly. The user has the option of linking
or disconnecting any of the connections to the Lion Heart and use it as he sees fit. As an
added bonus, the package also includes a black limited edition t-shirt and a serially
numbered postcard that features the girls of FF8. We are pretty sure that we overpaid for
it but we only have two of these available for sale. Retail ask is US$158. We're not sure
how to allocate them however as we have many requests but scarce quantities. If you are
still interested, please submit your request via e-mail with the heading "Squal Lion
Heart" and we'll have a random drawing of some sort. We'll ship the product tomorrow.
In addition, NCS will include a special Final Fantasy VIII product with each order - we
have a postcard book of FF8 and a wooden picture FF8 frame that features Rinoa and Squall
inside. We'll give these out randomly as well since we only received a small quantity and
have given some to local stores for promotional purposes already. |

We opened up our short in the RUT in the last session when the index
hit 420. Our play was the May 425 contract which we will protect with tight trailing
stops. We'll watch it move today and modify the position as necessary. We also made a good
trade when the SPX broke 1243 and went all the way down to our target of 1228 where we
sold out. Had we been patient, we would have gotten another 9 points this morning but
c'est la vie. Our YHOO trade would have exceeded our original profit target of US$44,000
had we been patient and held it until today. YHOO is sliding all the way down to US$172
right now. Check out the action in AOL this morning, down $15 on top of a major loss
yesterday. We like it at these levels and may start buying heavy calls on the May contract
for 150 strike. We'll check the action this morning and buy positions as we see fit. |
