Publisher Kid's "Close to"
ranks highest with an 8.33 in the reviews section of
this issue of DCM. Konohana: True Report follows closely
by earning a 7.33 average. Happy Lesson falters with a
middling 4.0 score. DCM checks out X-Box by interviewing
Tomonobu Itagaki of Tecmo and showing off some
screenshots from the upcoming Dead or Alive 3. Ed
Fries of Microsoft is also interviewed and a photo of
the X-Box and Mr. Fries shows just how big the console
is. Think of 3DO multiplayer size with a ghastly yellow
sticker on top.
Sonic Adventure 2 coverage continues and we
view some levels with classical sounding Sega Sonic
names such as Dry Lagoon, Iron Gate, and Sand Ocean.
Flipping forward, the running Sakura 3 guide delves into
the game with useful hints, scenario information, and
character studies. Towards the back of the magazine,
Arcade Express looks at Vampire Night, a coin-op
cooperation between Namco and Sega. |
