Sakura
Taisen / Win95 / Sega
PC gamers get their own version of Sakura with crisp 640x480 graphics and surprising system
specifications. Sega recommends at minimum, a Pentium 166mhz with 64 megs of ram and 200
megs of hard drive space. Optimal performance is realized with a Pentium II at 266mhz, 128
megs of ram and 1.4 gigs of hard drive space. The game spans three CD-Roms and includes a
special embroidered Sakura pen. Old school Sakura fans may recognize that the packaging
for the PC version is identical to the original limited edition box for Saturn Sakura
Taisen. In stock today at US$95. |

Pai "game" for all interested parties. We have a good quantity of
this title that should sate open demand. Retail is US$50. In other
Suchie restock, we have brought a final shipment of the Suchie Pai 5th
Anniversary package into the country. Retail for this game is US$75. |

Beatmaniacs

Import Delays
Boy. Pin your hopes on a courier and they let you down. Rasetsu Swords
and our complete shipment of arcade stock did not make it in today and we now expect
delivery on Monday. One lesson that we should've learned a while ago is to never import
shipments that are over 30 cartons total because of closer scrutiny and clearance issues. |

Yen Equilibrium
/ 08:57AM
The dollar strengthened in the overnight session to Y119.70. Perhaps
our limit buy to go long dollar was too low but we have no reservations in not chasing a
position that we wouldn't be comfortable in trading. We are comtemplating shorting the
Euro at this point since it is in a severe downdraft with no floors in sight. We'd like to
see it pull up on speculative buying before taking a heavy short position. A reasonable
target would be .88 over the next 2 months based on trading trends. |

Smash Brothers

Capital Markets
/ 09:06AM
Futures are strong and we're due for a pop this morning. Net stocks
vacillated in the last session but it appears that they'll move higher across the board
today. We have noticed that bearish articles are beginning to appear in the popular press
and we usually take these as harbingers that a minor correction is due in the next 2-3
months. Predictions of doom and gloom are never fulfilled quickly or "just in
time"... Articles that spout bearish predictions also help bull markets because they
compel speculators to go short. When positions don't go the bear way, these positions have
to be bought back or closed out, adding to the liquidity in the market. We remain long SPH
and have added a couple of June 1400 contracts with the recent pullback. |
