Deep inside a forest clearing sits the Konohana high school. As a transfer student, you expect a calm and quiet two years, given the serene location of your new school. Alas, on the first day of classes, a teacher is murdered and you immediately take the initiative to solve the crime. With the help of classmates, one of whom runs the school newspaper, you search for clues, speak to other students and try to stop the assailant before another murder is committed. An old school legend regarding a vengeful spirit also adds to the intrigue and injects the question of whether the murder was by mundane man or metaphysical myth.
