 Gameboy Advance ~ Pink

Scan

Think pink and mellow out with a decidedly feminine incarnation of the Gameboy Advance. We can only imagine (and back away slowly, from) the squeals and shrieks of delight when hyperactive gals in Japan spot the latest color scheme. Officially dubbed "Milky Pink" because of it's cloudy nature, the new color may find passionate fans in America and Europe as well. Nintendo does not plan to release this color in the USA but all of the other colors (purple, white, milky blue) are in the pipeline under new, fancy names (respectively, indigo, arctic, and glacier). Pre-orders ship today and new orders for just the unit itself are welcome at US$125.

PS Forget Me Not ~ The Pallet

Scans

A young woman named B.D. suffers an accident and loses her sight and memory, rendering her a tabula rasa. She lives like a blank slate, or an unfulfilled palette, whose prior life and experiences may or may not be hidden underneath her current mental state. As a psychiatrist charged with helping B.D. recuperate and possibly recover her memories, you plumb the depths of her mind and use audio clues and cues to help her recover a lost past.
Forget Me Not plays similarly to an adventure game with the emphasis on cognitive detective work and suspense. The view of the game pans on the action from an overhead perspective and illustrative flick screens narrate the tale during key moments. When you progress to a milestone in the girl's re-development, you'll witness the change in her attitude as well as her ability to communicate better. In the beginning of your association, she calls you, the psychiatrist, and emotes insecurity and confusion but her condition improves as you help her recover from trauma.

 PS Happy Diet

Scans

Billions of dollars are poured into diets every year to combat the billions more slathered into the coffers of fast food restaurants and joints. When the allure of super-sized burger meals overcome the sensibilities of healthy eating, obesity reigns. Happy Diet joins the fitness world by offering an eating regimen, a calorie calculator, and a way to burn those calories in front of your television. Professor Kazuhiko Kudou who heads the Kagawa Nutrition College of Japan acts as dietary consultant in the game and gives his take on proper eating. Players may also design their own diets around their lives and routines based on advice from Kazuhiko-san. A separate stepping controller was released in Japan to complement the Happy Diet software but our pre-order allocation of this device appears botched by usually reliable suppliers. We should however receive the item within 1-2 weeks. As it is, the novelty of the game sort of required the stepping controller and we'll sit on this game while we wait for the stepping units to arrive.

 PS SD Gundam G Generation-F I.F.

Scans

Three SD Gundam G Generation games have bewitched tactics players since 1998 and Bandai's I.F. disc acts as a supplement and complement to all three episodes. The Super Challenge Mode pits you against a time limit and the task of taking out an entire squadron of mobile suits inside that limit. Ten stages culled from scenarios found in previous SDGGGs and new battles provide the backdrop of your little G-war. A Customize Room stores banks of save-data containing unlocked characters, mechs, and secrets, et al, which may be used in the SDGGG games. 168 pieces of artwork in the CG Gallery taken from the series may be viewed in a slideshow while Movie Collection allows players to watch all of the movies from the SDGGG games (original still required) in a swap disc function. Finally, any questions you may have concerning a character or unit are answered in the Perfect Profile section of the game.  View characters, listen to their voices, and check their stats.

 GT3 A-Spec

Friday Booboo

Everything else arrived today except the game we really needed. Looks like it's due Tuesday now, possibly delayed due to the large size of the driving controllers and the number of cartons. NCS will contact customers by e-mail if their pre-orders for GT3 are shipping on Tuesday and we'll contact everyone else with an expected timetable by tonight.

Breath of Fire and Super Street Fighter IIX, originally listed by a vendor for the PS2 to ship in July, are actually GBA games. Both games are priced at Y4800 or NCS US$49.

 Tomorrow

Mail

GT3 + GT Force Wheels are expected on Tuesday. DC Magazine Vol. 13, Happy Lesson, and Konohana: True Report arrived today but we'll update these products in tomorrow's website update. E-mail or phone orders for the DC products are welcome to ship this afternoon, we just won't be able to accept orders for them online.
Due to the short shipments of GT3, no new orders are being accepted at this time but we should be able to receive the second allocations of the game within 1 week.

One mail account failed over the weekend and some messages may bounce back to senders. If this happens, please resend or forward it to NCS. Please allow up to 24 hours, starting today, for NCS to respond to any queries received over the weekend.
