PS1 July Schedule
A quick scan of the confirmed July schedule marks it as a non-event
except for the release of Square's Final Fantasy 9. There are a number of
interesting sounding names such as Wakeboarding from Metro, Monkey
Magic from Sunsoft, and Digimon World 2 but the bulk of July's
titles for the PS are budget re-releases from Spike, Tonkinhouse and D3 Publisher. Lest we
forget, aspiring hostesses may find Omizu no Hanamichi due on July 6 as
required fare. It's a Japanese hostess training simulation that also contains 3 Pocket
Station mini games. NCS will post the complete schedule in Thursday's update. |

Dragon Quest 7
Providing relief to Square, Enix have announced that the latest epic
in the legendary Dragon Quest series will hit the Japanese market on August 26.
Square's release date for Final Fantasy IX should solidify for July 19 as the company was
widely expected to delay the ship date if Enix brought DQ7 to market in July. |
